  • Used once. so far, so good Used once. so far, so good
Style: 1.03 cu.ft
Where to start...First, hold off on buying an adaptor or check it over good first before buying one. The one they send is dual threaded-has both a male and female threading on it. So there's a good chance it will work for you. I only found out after going to Home Depot, and walking away with nothing but a really poor attitude from the worker because it wasn't his dept and he knew nothing about nothing....I looked at the adaptor more closely, and noticed it had 2 rubber washers in it for some reason. Took the top one out and saw it had fittings that would work on my faucet. Voila. I had previously used one of those twin tubs/separate spinner portable machines. The one I had, which held 12 lbs in the wash section, it was great! It lasted several years, even leaving it under a tarp outside. Though I think that was the start of the demise of it. If you're in a bind financially, those will work good. It just takes a few extra steps and a bit more time because you have to manually move it to spin it, and the spinners are smaller. That's why I wanted one of these, I was tired of that. So for the extra 50. or so, I'd recommend one of these. Otherwise, they work very similar. Looking through reviews on all of these, seems it's all about the same. Some have great experiences, others not. I'm using this in a hybrid RV (2018 Rockwood Roo 233S) that I"m temporarily staying in full time. So kinda limited on space. Dimensions given are pretty accurate-right about 17 inches across the top widest part, and from front to back width right about 18 inches, maybe add another inch on for the hose opening on the back for clearance purposes. And it's a tad more then 2 1/2 foot tall, at it's tallest spot at the back. The inside dimensions, I know that's what I was concerned about. How big exactly is 1 cu ft? How much laundry is 8 lbs? I posted photos with a lighter to give some perspective; about 12 inches across and about 12 inches deep, to the top of the steel basket since water won't be over that level. I knew this was a smaller washer, but it actually is bigger then I thought. Glad I went with this size. My first wash, I put in 3 XL tshirts, 1 pair XL kinda thick shorts, 2 camisole tops, 3 pairs of underwear, 2 pairs of socks. This will easily wash my sheets, though they're queen size so may have to do 1 at a time. Definitely won't fit a comforter. The water levels read in liters, 1-5. I initially picked 4 liters, but then decided I wanted it to 5. So it started refilling it to 5 with no issues. I did a quick/fast wash, and it was about 22 minutes total, then I put it on air dry for about 30 mins. The only water leak I had was at the faucet, when it wasn't filling. So I don't know if that's a thing with my rv system since I"m using water from a water container rather then a city line, or what, so I shut the water off every time it was done filling or using it to rinse. So I just had to monitor when it would change cycles and turn the water on. Otherwise, no leaks anywhere on the floor or at the connection on the machine. I read another review, and I used duck tape to tape the discharge hose down to my counter/sink. It stayed put. Be aware, the plastic rack that clips it to the side can be slid up or down. It'll make sense once you look at it so the U curve is closer to the sink/counter. The clothes came out clean. The spinner worked good, and the air dry function just helped it along a bit further to be more dry. They still need to be hung up or put in a dryer though, which I knew. It's very quiet. The main sound while it's washing is a light splashing around of water. When it spins, it's like a low hum. Very quiet. Few tips -smaller load=smaller amount of detergent. Don't dump a capful in :) Also I think it would probably be a good idea to do1-2 loads a day over a few days as opposed to 5-6 loads a day once a week. Don't make the pump/motor work as hard with bigger loads. Just my opinion there to try to achieve longevity with this. I prefer to add detergent and water first before my clothes so it mixes in with the water. Start to fill, hit the pause button, put in clothes, resume filling. ALWAYS hit the pause button before opening. The alarm is annoying! Also I picked up this little dolly to help move it around, and it's working and held up good search it above by the number B0C7PC6TK2 It's 21. now with a 10% coupon. Only con at the moment, which is nothing more then inconvenience type of thing-I wish the top was clear instead of smokey color. That's really it. Overall happy with this. So far it's working out good for me and my purpose/area. Hope it lasts! Any issues at all I will absolutely update at the top of my review. ... show more

  • Highly recommend!
Style: 1.03 cu.ft
I love this washer. We had a disabled pet duck who lived in a pen in our home. This washer was perfect for his blankets. We were able to wash them daily, separate from our laundry. We could usually fit in a throw blanket and 2-3 towels. It did a great job of washing and rinsing and was very easy to use. It even has handles that allow you to move it easily, so it's great as a portable device. Because we used it for duck laundry, we would often have to send it through the wash cycle twice, but if you were using it for everyday laundry, it's awesome! Very impressed and I would purchase this again if the need ever came up. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • It works really well!!
Style: 1.03 cu.ft
I live in an apartment on the third floor so I had to carry it up the steps and it is heavy but not too heavy. I connected the hose to my kitchen sink and the drain pipe to the dish rack ( that’s the only way it’ll drain without it spilling on the floor ) I’ve washed about 5 shirts & 2 pants at the same time and used the air dry mode and my clothes came out amazing It does dry your clothes quickly. It functions really well the washability is great. Im about 5’4 the machine sits at my waist level as far as the size of the machine. When it ends the noise level is kind of noisy. If you live in an RV , college dorm, or small apartment or even like me pregnant and live on the third floor this does help TREMENDOUSLY. ... show more

  • Not well made
Style: 1.03 cu.ft
This machine seemed lovely and functional at first, but within a week it started breaking apart and leaking. Plastic parts are not sturdily made and are likely to crack amd break. The lid is very flimsy. Could be a good machine if it were reworked with better materials.

  • Best appliance purchase I've made in a long time!
Style: 1.03 cu.ft
What a great purchase this was! It arrived at my door in perfect shape. The packing and insulation was excellent, not a scratch anywhere. I was able to easily hook up the intake hose with the adapter to my bathroom sink. I recommend that when tightening the adapter onto the machine, if you can do it tightly just using your hand and you don't have a problem with leaks, it might be better than using the wrench which might cause you to over tighten it and strip the connector. I've been using the machine for about 2 months and I must say when I first got it I was a little bit nervous about that control panel with all the options but after using the machine a few times it was very easy to figure out how to use it without looking at the instruction booklet which may cause more confusion than if you just try it by trial and error. I can really appreciate all the options that are available on the panel. I actually like the gray color that gives it a somewhat "designer" look as opposed to typical white appliances. Although the exterior is plastic it's a very durable plastic and actually helps to cut down on the weight of the machine and make it very easy to move, although I did purchase a separate roller platform which I highly recommend. ... show more

  • Great for Washing Reusable Cloth Diapers
Style: 1.03 cu.ft
I was super skeptical when looking for a portable dishwasher, but this one is easy to use and does exactly what we need. We recently had a baby and are cloth diapering, and bought this washer to keep the washing of the diapers separate from the washing of all our other linens. So we use it for washing only and not drying, though I have tested out the air dry settings. While this washer washes items well, I would not say that it dries effectively. It will get 90% of the moisture out, but they're not ready for the hanger when you pull them out. If you don't have a dryer, you would still need to hang your items to dry after using this washer's air dry setting. ... show more

  • First Unit DOA
Style: 1.03 cu.ft
The first washer that I received didn’t work. The control panel lit up and I could change the program settings but beyond that nothing happened. It never made a sound. I called the customer support phone number and got a message saying that this was their busy period and I would do better to send an email. I did that and got a rapid initial reply. We emailed back and forth for several days. Their replies were very polite and said how much they wanted to resolve my problem. The thing is, if they would have picked up the phone and called me, we could have accomplished more in five minutes than we did in five days. Anyway, they ended up saying that I should contact Amazon about getting a replacement. I did that and that process went exceptionally well. The replacement did work. There were a couple of additional quality issues that I noticed when unpacking the first machine. There was a small break in the plastic shroud for the interior tub and the back access panel wasn't properly closed. It was a simple matter to snap the panel into place. The second unit suffered from the same panel deficiency. I have done one load in the second machine and it ran quietly and smoothly. One thing that seems unusual to me is that the outer case of the machine is a soft plastic material. It easily flexes. I don't know that this is a problem, but I'm surprised that they didn't use a more rigid plastic. Another thing is that only one of the four feet is adjustable for leveling. It doesn't seem like this will work very well. The instructions are not easy to understand. Word usage and sentence structure could be better. I'm guessing that no one fluent in English ever proofread it. The control panel shows 10 modes of operation but nowhere do they explain what each does. So, how do I rate this product? The first unit would get only one star. I think the second unit will be fine, but I don’t think that it is exceptional enough to warrant 5 stars. I automatically deduct one star for especially poor instructions. Taking all of this into account, I am giving a 3-star rating for the overall experience. UPDATE: From response to my email inquiry. I thought this might be helpful to others. Explanation of the 10 Programs (Common Use): This program is designed for general washing of regular clothes. (Standard): Suitable for washing clothes that are generally dirty and need frequent changing. (Heavy Duty): Used for washing large or heavily soiled items such as bed sheets and covers. (Quick Wash): Ideal for washing lightly soiled clothes in a shorter amount of time. (Soak Wash): Suitable for very dirty clothes. Clothes are soaked in the washing solution for a period before washing to help remove stains more effectively. (Wash Only): This program runs only the washing cycle. (Wash and Rinse): Used for clothes that are prone to wrinkling, without a spin cycle. (Rinse and Spin): Ideal for hand-washed clothes that need rinsing and spinning. (Spin Only): This program runs only the spin cycle. (Tub Air Dry): This program air-dries the inner and outer tubs of the washing machine to keep them dry and prevent mold growth. ... show more
