I have always made fun of people with LEDs all over their computers. But I just built a new system for the first time in years, only to find few case options that were both large enough for the components I wanted and fully-enclosed. All of the cases seem to have a transparent side panel these days. And even the motherboard has LEDs all over it. So, rather than fight it, I decided to lean into it. I bought these RAM sticks over the non-LED versions, and well... I regret nothing. I have gotten hours of enjoyment changing the way the LEDs light up, and fine-tuning just exactly how I want my ridiculously lighted-up computer to look. Oh, and they also work great as RAM. Nice and fast, very cool-running, and stable as a rock. My one and only complaint is that the Windows software that controls the LEDs (iCue) interferes with the software that controls the other RGB lights on my motherboard. So if I want to change the way my Corsair's look, I have to install that software, change it, and then uninstall the software. Otherwise, my other lights go all screwy. But that could be blamed equally on AsRock, the manufacturer of the mobo. ... show more

I wanted to upgrade the speed or my ram so I picked up the 64gb pack. Great ram, but the motherboard doesn’t recognize the sticks when you put them in certain slots on the board. Probably a motherboard issue even though I’m running the latest bios. Happy with the RAM for video editing in Davinci Resolve. ... show more

This ram works great out of the box. I am using it with the Maximus XI Extreme motherboard with no issues. The lighting on the RAM is nice and bright and it is easily controlled through Corsair's iCue software. I purchased this after returning faulty vengeance lpx memory and I am much happier with this dominator platinum kit. ... show more

    • Great look and good timing
While RAM kit seems to be well built and RGB effects looks great. Software is mediocre and RAM rail to work with Maximux X HERO Code. Ram fail to run at described speed. Perhaps my kit was bad but overall construction Quality is amazing.
