First the ram is great, A++ quality, when you get which version you require. Saying that, you need to check on the front bottom right of the box. I bought some AMD Optimized back in May with 0 issues, but I have ordered 4 times and replacements 4 times since then for a total of 8 attempts at getting "AMD Optimized" version shipped and sold by Amazon.com (which is what the listing said every time I bought) Every single time I get Intel Optimized. Why does this matter? Aside from Corsair will only guarantee speeds for pairing with the correct processor, you need the same chips for dual channel mode. If you are like me with 2 sticks of AMD and 2 sticks of Intel, then one set will dual channel and one set will not cause different chips. Not to mention the timings are entirely different and worse on the Intel Optimized mixed with my AMD Ryzen 5950x processor. If you need Intel you are fine I guess, AMD you are gambling with a heavy favor for the house, at least for now until they fix whatever the issue is (I think the cheaper listings of this ram shipped & sold by amazon are Intel version with the incorrect item name for the sell page). Multiple attempts to get amazon to help they just place notes, and same thing happens every time. I even told them the ending of the serial number on the item would be Z3600C18 for AMD and D3600C18 for Intel, to no avail they can't do anything with serial numbers or help to actually get me what I pay for. ... show more

    • Faulty RGB lighting
Everything working perfectly fine, speed maxed out, cool temperatures, and then unfortunately I noticed the entire right section of one of the sticks is incorrect for any RGB setup. Such a shame, I have to return them and buy another set just to hopefully not receive a faulty product again.
