  • The Best Wireless heavy gaming mouse for large hands.
Style: Qi Wireless Charging Pattern Name: Gaming Mouse
First things first. I needed a large mouse for large hands and I finally stumbled upon this gem of a mouse that feels like it was made for me. (I was using a G502 previously and found it to be to small). So I decided to buy it and found out that it sold out literally everywhere at my place. So I had it shipped to my country through Amazon Global standard shipping(through Aramex) . Arrived a week early and was well packaged but the box had to opened for a customs check. No items were missing , so good. The mouse is really well built and is a bit on the heavier side but I like my mice heavy. The ergonomics are really perfect for large hands (hand size: 19.5x10cm) and the included pinky rest is a lifesaver for both gaming and work. The mouse feet are really smooth, in fact too smooth that I had to lower my sensitivity lol. All buttons can be customized with Corsair iCUE quick and easy and if you need macros that can be done within the software as well. Some features can be saved to the mouse on-board memory profiles (up to 3) so you do not need the software all the time. RGB is bright and beautiful. The outer body has a textured plastic that is miles better than rubber. Wireless : Corsair slipstream is truly an achievement and I found no difference in performance when using the mouse in both wired and wireless mode. iCUE is only required for the pairing the mouse and the dongle. After that you can turn the software off if needed. I've had some lag (that goes away after 5-10 secs) when trying to use the mouse after the computer starts up or awakens from sleep mode however this is a standard phenomena that occurs with all wireless mice. The mouse is a breeze to use without wires. (the included wire is too stiff and can push the mouse on a flat surface if it gets coiled) Battery and charging: Battery life is average. Mouse lasts for about 9-10hrs with all lights turned on and takes about 2-3 hrs to fully charge. Wireless charging is OK , it takes a bit of time but its really well implemented and mouse lights up white to let you know it it is charging wirelessly with any Qi certified charger. Note: There is no percentage indicator letting you know how much battery is left even in software unfortunately. Miscellaneous issues : I have heard of issues of accidental right click and mushy switches in some reviews. At least in my unit , I haven't had such experiences....yet. (will update if any occurs). Cons: The Corsair iCUE software is a pain to use and it literally crashes my PC when trying to game. Button mapping although easy to do gets ages to save in the software and I finally decided just to save it to the onboard profile instead. Also one major problem I found - If you have a low end PC and you also have other corsair peripherals such a s a Corsair keyboard , the software forces you to save multiple (unnecessary) profiles to both software and onboard memory of BOTH keyboard and mouse to function properly. If it is not done it causes a lot of software glitches and unresponsiveness of keys on the keyboard and DPI buttons on the mouse. Also if you uninstall iCUE with keyboard and mouse connected , It will take away the RGB of both devices for some reason. There is also a bug that says 'your profiles are not saved , go to device settings to save' even if I saved the profile to mouse multiple times. The profiles will work but it is an annoyance to see that pop up again. I strongly recommend you disable the software after you have done all your mapping, wireless and macros if you are on a low end device. Verdict: Overall the best ergonomic mouse that I have laid my hands on. They don't make mice like these anymore after most "pro's" switched to ultralightweight mice. Good modular support and ease of use. Only held back by the horrible iCUE software. (P.S -pretty much all mouse software have some issues...although my review thrashes iCUE , I just want you to know that no software is perfect even if it is from Logitech or Razer , it is just a matter of getting used to it until they fix it ). I recommend this mouse. ... show more

  • Great for large hands with a big annoyance
Style: Standard Charging Pattern Name: Gaming Mouse
This mouse is a great upgrade from the g502 for anyone with large hands. The pinky rest is amazing. The iCue software and the corded charging are the downfalls of this mouse. iCue is horrible to set up the first time. I suppose once you are used to it it is not so bad but the first time is a mess. Having to use a cord to charge the mouse is awful. The reason you buy a wireless mouse is to get away from wires. A battery would have been better. Four stars because in the end and despite its flaws it is one of the most comfortable mice to use for large hands. ... show more

  • Not bad overall. Much to like, very little to dislike
Style: Qi Wireless Charging Pattern Name: Gaming Mouse
Went looking for a new mouse and wanted a wireless one. I had no idea Qi chargable mice were out there until I searched, and since I have a charge pad right next to me that I throw my phone and earphone case on as needed, I figured this would be more ideal than plugging in a cable every now and then. After using it for a week, here's some pluses an minuses. The good: Have it set up with the slipstream vs cabled or BT. Response time seems great though I don't really play games at a high enough level to notice minor lag ICue software is pretty straightforward to configure the receiver and the mouse Buttons are responsive Shape of mouse is nice Not so good: Icue software took a LONG time to find my mouse and let me configure things during setup. Once installed it seems to run fine, opens fast, etc. just the initial install was really really slow. Battery life: its ok. I run it with full color lights on, so I'm sure that drains things and I'd be better served turning them off. I could also probably change the polling, and switching the sleep mode down to 5 minutes seems to help conserve battery, but it does go quickly. Button placement: the DPI up/down buttons are an odd reach for me. Rarely do I change from my default mode anyway. I had thought that maybe the middle button by the wheel would cycle through DPI but largely the DPI up, down and center button are going unused by me. The thumb rest. I've had some mice with this (logitech) and liked it. This one I'm not crazy about. maybe because it tilts up a bit instead of being more flat? I didn't bother installing the other side rest. Cost: Its a higher price than I like, but it seems like its on par with other wireless 'performance' gaming mice from other companies with a similar pedigree in gaming, if not a bit cheaper. Was happy to pay up though for using an industry standard wireless charging solution vs some proprietary one requiring me to buy a special holder, mat, mouse pad etc The bad: Mouse wheel. A free spin wheel option would be nice. I feel like the center tread, or grip or whatever is not good. It's too smooth given the wheel resistance. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. ... show more

  • good mouse and very comfortable
Style: Qi Wireless Charging Pattern Name: Gaming Mouse
I haven't used the wireless or Bluetooth yet so i will update this when i do. i purchased this mouse for the flexibility I'm a wired kind of person but wireless is also nice in some situations. The mouse is very comfortable i like how you can change the piece on the right side to give some comfort and variation for people with larger hands. the wireless dongle also tucks away behind that interchangeable piece. otherwise your typical gaming mouse setting and profiles are customizable it has a little weight to it which i prefer in a mouse. This is the absolutely best thing about the mouse with out this you couldn't call it gaming and certainly it couldn't be high end or good at all. It has....................RGB......woohoo. so if your into that it will spew rainbow vomit at your fingertips. ... show more

  • A nice upgrade with an option to go wireless
Style: Qi Wireless Charging Pattern Name: Gaming Mouse
Got this new mouse to replace my corsair Ironclaw, which is a nice mouse but easily gets dirty and is hard to clean because of the materials used. This mouse feels so good and is easy to customize using the iQue software. I like having the option to go wireless or wired. I like how the wireless dongle fits nicely hidden in the unit. Overall, this is a great mouse and I would buy it again. ... show more
