I initially ordered this kit through Amazon and after several inquiries about where or when it would be delivered, I was told that it was on back order. I ordered from a different seller (AZ Ponds), who had the in stock. They were in constant communication with me to ensure I would be home for the delivery. My husband and I have done the installation by ourselves, minus digging the hole. We paid to have that done. The instructions are quite easy to follow, and I am extremely happy with the outcome. All items needed are included in the kit except gravel and large rocks. The items are not flimsy or cheap at all and I feel will with stand the heavy rocks, weather, kids, dogs, etc for years to come. *shame on amazon for telling me that my first order would be on time instead of being honest that it was on backorder!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So far, the kit works well. Be careful with the foam! Even with gloves it can make a big mess. Take your time, and consider purchasing a second liner for slightly larger applications. Better job to do with a partner, but can be a solo mission. We love the out come. It’s a great kit for home DIY. The only thing I would recommend is ordering extra pond foam. We actually used 3 cans. The stream noise is so nice to hear and relaxing.

Liked the kit. Complete with all of the needed parts, and good instructions. The whole situation was great. Until the pump failed. I've had the waterfall for one year when the pump failed. No problem, (I thought), there's a 3 year warranty. Only to find that after numerous emails, send pics, take the pump apart, send more pics, etc., The claim was denied. I got a denial form letter that didn't even apply to the kit that I had received. Enough! So I bought a new pump, and all is nice again. Side note, To replace with their exact pump would have been $300, but I found others on Amazon for around $50. Actually, if you search for all of the parts individually, you can really save. The kit is nice for a first-timer, because it has all of the stuff, and good instructions. Just beware of the warranty. ... show more

The Acquascape 2000 pump that is included in this kit stopped working after four months. Warranty services deduced that I had been negligent by allowing it to run dry or get clogged with debris, which never happened. After explaining this and asking for a return postage label, they refused. I was unwilling to pay as they had indicated they could see what happened by the pictures that were sent. Why this pump burned out, I don't know other than to deduce it was a manufacturing flaw. To add to the issue on one of the promotion videos made by the founders of this company they indicated that in testing that the Acquascape pumps were so well made that they could "run dry" and remain functional. Excellent for DIY, although it's a labor-intense job, these products simplified it. Kit has everything needed. Dirt Monket University 6 Hour Waterfall Youtube video is very helpful and full of great tips. It took much (MUCH) more than 6 hours, a running joke with me and my hubby who built this ourselves. We love the way this turned out, the way it sounds. This seller is also great, there was a small issue with an item & they took care of it. We would highly recommend this kit. ... show more

Followed online video which made it very helpful. Our waterfall had to be more vertical than the video showed due to space -- would have liked more options/suggestions. Would have given 4.5 stars if that was an option.
