Vengeance LPX memory is designed for high-performance overclocking. The heat spreader is made of pure aluminum for faster heat dissipation, and the eight- layer PCB helps manage heat and provides superior overclocking headroom. **Motherboard:** MS-C767 MSI MAG B365M MORTAR I've found multitasking increasingly challenging since I purchased this gaming PC a couple of years ago. After investigating the source of the bottleneck, I suspected that the RAM was the issue due to various symptoms my PC was exhibiting. Applications responded slowly, and web browsers dragged my system to a crawl. After researching the best RAM options for my motherboard, I decided to upgrade to Corsair Vengeance RAM, known for its excellent performance at a reasonable price. The MS-C767 motherboard supports a maximum speed of 2666 MHz, so I chose this speed instead of the 3200 MHz RAM that initially came with the PC. Although it's possible to use higher clock speed RAM with the MS-C767, I was still determining whether it would surpass the 2666 MHz limit. I also encountered compatibility issues when trying to install overclocked RAM, so I opted for the Corsair Vengeance modules, which are guaranteed to be compatible with my system. Removing the old RAM and installing the new modules was incredibly straightforward. Upgrading from 16GB to 32GB significantly boosted performance, noticeable not only during gaming but also in everyday tasks. I had to RMA the first set through corsair, but I still give them 5 stars as they made the process very easy and helped me through each step, and the second set is still running. They had me run a memory test and email them the results. Then they sent me a new set or RAM with a return shipping label for the faulty set. Good stuff! ... show more

My son's gaming PC was getting a little slow with modern games. We purchased this to upgrade his memory from 8GB to 32GB. I installed it in a dual channel configuration. The memory has worked perfectly. He's very happy with the increase in game performance. Computer memory is easy to install, even for a beginner, and there are many online guides about how to do it. Make sure you are purchasing memory that is compatible with your motherboard, and make sure you use the right slots if you want to run a faster dual channel configuration. For a long while, this Corsair CMK32GX4M4A2666C15 model was the undisputed performance champion among 32GB DDR4 memory kits. Today, there are higher clocked products available, but as you might expect they are exceedingly price prohibitive. You can now buy DDR4-2800 kits for about the same price as this one, but there's not much logic in doing so since they have equal voltage requirements but looser timings than this kit does via its "secret" DDR4-2800 XMP profile. I have also grown to be fans of the Vengeance LPX heatspreaders. With their low profile design - both in terms of height and aesthetics - these modules fit and look good on every motherboard that ive seen . And if you do encounter any issues, Corsair has a terrific online user forum, great customer service, and of course the lifetime warranty. Overall, this Corsair Vengeance LPX model hits all the right marks for someone looking for an enthusiast-oriented 32GB memory kit. It's not in the same price category as the similarly sized but run-of-the-mill Crucial DDR4-2133 but screw that its just so much better ... show more

I made the mistake of trying to install these two sticks in addition to another set (same make / model). Somehow, it broke my machine so badly that I had to reinstall windows. No idea how my C: got corrupted by this, but I lost a sql database and had to spend like 4 days reinstalling programs and rebuilding my database afterward. What happened was my motherboard was only recognizing 2 of the sticks, at first. Then the other two showed up, but all the RAM worked at a much slower speed than they should have. The profiles didn't populate in bios correctly. Windows kept going into startup repair, and eventually failed completely. Generally, RAM is sold in sets that are factory tested to ensure they all work together. Normally, it's okay to add two more cards of the same make / model since they should have the same timings, but that's not always guaranteed, which is why they come in factory tested sets, as I sadly learned. That all said, I eventually did get these working with my old sticks... I just needed to update my bios. Asrock apparently put out an update not too long ago that increased RAM compatibility. I wouldn't have thought that would matter given that I already had two sticks of the exact same stuff in there, but it did. If you're thinking of buying these as an upgrade, and you already have 2 sticks of the same working, please update your bios before you make the same mistake I did. ... show more

I work in graphic design and wanted to get slightly faster RAM but also make sure I'd never be lacking, so I bought these sticks. They're super sturdy and easy to install (keep in mind that the heat-sinks on the RAM take up more space than bare sticks, so factor that into your build). So far, these are perfect, no problems after about a year of use! It's been great to have a ton of projects open at the same time without worrying about hitting a limit. And a note for buyers: if you want to use the actual speed of this RAM, make sure to check your BIOS to see if you XMP enabled! ... show more

Excellent value. Quality seems impressive. Everything fit and worked perfectly. Upgraded from 12 GB (one 8 GB and one 4 Gb) to 32 GB (2 16 GB). Took less than 10 minutes start to finish. Made a noticeable difference in video editing.
