Was bicycling in the cold rain, decided to cheap out on a raincoat and buy this tarp, cut into a crude poncho, and hold it around me with a length of doublesided velcro (basically a belt). It was awkward, but it did work. Good durability and very much waterproof (well, for the parts I didn't cut a hole into...). I've since switched over to other coats, but I don't regret this purchase. This tarp is good quality for a good price. If you need something more heavy duty that is going to hold a lot of tension, I would recommend purchasing one of the thicker options. Mine work perfectly to cover two 600lb bales that I have to store outside over the winter as well as my small manure spreader. So far so good! It was the exact size I needed. Grommets are holding, but I don’t have a ton of tension on them. Will edit my review if the grommets don’t hold up, if I find that it’s leaking, if it rips, etc. but so far I am very happy with it! ... show more

I purchased this to replace the top I had on the carport I bought here on Amazon. That top only lasted 14 months before the wind shredded it. This seems to be much thicker and I am hoping it will hold up much better. It covers my dogs kennel perfectly.
