First of all, let's talk about how compact this thing is. Its just a long cylander shape, and it takes up barely any space. So if you're in a small apartment, a dorm, or at work, this is perfect. But the most important thing at the end of the day is going to be how well it works. I can say that after a week of using this daily, it works great! Its a perfect way to tone your chest and biceps. The exact area you workout is all going to depend on the angle you bend it, how far away from your chest it is, and the height you bend it at. Its also great if you just want to do some targeted bicep curls if you're into that. In terms of overall resistance, I find this one to be great for entry level, but you may want to get one with more resistance if you're already ripped. Personally, I combine this with the Fitlaya Upper Body workout bar. The fitlaya I find is better for your shoulders and back, plus you can use it for a low impact easy on the lower back ab workout. Then use this for the rest of your upper body. Between both of these tools I haven't used my Bowflex dumbells in forever. Lastly, I would say that if you use this specific equipment, then make sure to wear wrist guards if you're just starting to workout. Bad wrist and forearm posture will definitely hurt your wrists in the long run, and you can easily land a lasting injury if you go too big too quick without the proper form.

I love how easy it is to use, and how limited space it occupies when stored away. Does it work as exercise equipment that produces results? Absolutely, without any reservations whatsoever. The trick to working out with this Power Twister is to locate where in your arms you have the optimum leverage. Once you determine that, then that's where your focus should be. Let me explain, I have a lot of difficulty closing this Twister when it's at eye level whether my hands are placed at the end or middle of it. If I bring it down to chess level slightly better. However, when I use it to do bicep curls, amazingly, I can bring the handles to within 6 inches of each other. I'm 69 and weight only 154 lbs.!! This is the arm position where I have the greatest leverage to exert maximum strength and build or tone muscle. So you might say, well that's just biceps. Wrong! Yes, you are doing biceps, but in order to bend the handles of this Power Twister to within 6 inches of each other, your wrists, forearms, biceps, shoulders, and back muscles are ALL WORKING in unison and getting stronger. The stronger all those body parts get the more you'll be able to move around to other points in space. Remember, find your leverage point and stay there because all your upper body muscles are working. And remember to contract your stomach muscles to get them strong too in the process. And don't forget to exhale when you exert and inhale when releasing. Awesome piece of equipment if you use it correctly. I recommend this purchase unconditional. Buy it you won't regret it.

Not as good as my last one (tbh no clue what brand it even was) but it's decent. Got mid-size due to complaints about the heavy one being weaker. Makes a metal creaking noise when bent. It looks like there's a tiny spring inside the bigger one. Will update if it breaks. Seems good quality.

Been using this regularly for chest & shoulder PT & conditioning. There is significant resistance for anyone that does not have chest, arm, shoulder, and core strength. Eventually, I needed to implement various movements and exercises that target core and static muscle control. Unfortunately the rubber hand grips are disintegrating and quickly. The internal spring is exposed as the rubber caps ripped off with the end fabric loops. Still functional but disappointing the quality stopped there.

It works out muscles in ways that my expensive weight set cannot. It seems silly that I should spend all this money building an incredible weight set and workout gym, but then have to buy a twister bar to supplement. But some cars don't come with cup holders. Anyway, this thing is awesome. If you want to work your biceps and pecs, this sucker will do the trick. Look up some exercises for twister bars on YouTube and do some of the routines you find, careful to crunch quickly, hold, then let up slowly. After a few reps, you'll see that this thing is burning you like a blow torch. You'll be nice and sore in all the right places the next day. I started seeing results after about a week. And the convenience factor of this is that on pull-routine days, you can literally sit on the couch and watch Dexter while you set your arms on fire with curls. Leaning back comfortably on the couch. Crazy. And then there is the travel convenience. You can toss this in a suitcase or bag and carry it with you on a weekend getaway and not miss your workout. I mean, you can do pushups anywhere, but there's not always a way to get your pulls in. The Python takes care of that. And yes, the statement you've been wondering about - the ladies do love it. When she sees your arms after a two-minute exercise with the twister bar, you'll see her eyes get a little glossy, then she'll take a deep breath. So the Python Power Twister works on two levels. Giggety.
