For a few years now I've contemplated some type of grip tape for my cork handle casting rods. As I age and carpal tunnel issues set in, I need a better overall grip on the rod handles. The cork is just too smooth and slippery, causing the rod to roll in my hand, especially with larger 200 and 300-series reels. This tape remedied that issue fast! It really works and I now have good, grippy handles on all of these rods. My first roll was 10' test roll. Now that I know that it fits my needs, I've since ordered the 36' roll, and will use on every casting rod I own. The 36' roll has since arrived and I've now outfitted all of my casting rods. The plastic hand grips on my bow flex dumbbell set was tearing and slipping during use until this product saved me. Easy to apply and despite its smooth appearance the grip is solid. Only been using for about two weeks but confident in its quality. Would buy again

Easy to install, just make your first/last wrap over itself, and be sure to stretch it while wrapping. Feels good on the hands and has a better grip than factory knurled grips. I also use it on some of my gardening handles as well. Great grip tape.

    • Bought to use for an RV stairs handle. Didn't do too well.
I'm sure this makes great weight grip tape. I bought it to use for a RV stairs handle. It worked great for awhile, but the sun and weather beat it up and it split and cracked. So. Weights yes. Outdoor RV stairs handle no.
