For a few years now I've contemplated some type of grip tape for my cork handle casting rods. As I age and carpal tunnel issues set in, I need a better overall grip on the rod handles. The cork is just too smooth and slippery, causing the rod to roll in my hand, especially with larger 200 and 300-series reels. This tape remedied that issue fast! It really works and I now have good, grippy handles on all of these rods. My first roll was 10' test roll. Now that I know that it fits my needs, I've since ordered the 36' roll, and will use on every casting rod I own. The 36' roll has since arrived and I've now outfitted all of my casting rods. Bring on summer!

Easy to install, just make your first/last wrap over itself, and be sure to stretch it while wrapping. Feels good on the hands and has a better grip than factory knurled grips. I also use it on some of my gardening handles as well. Great grip tape.

I'm sure this makes great weight grip tape. I bought it to use for a RV stairs handle. It worked great for awhile, but the sun and weather beat it up and it split and cracked. So. Weights yes. Outdoor RV stairs handle no.
