  • Hardworking Time-Saver
I have used it 5 times now twice around 4"+. I actually use it with a B+D 7.5 Ah battery using a Dewalt tool to B+D battery adapter. One nit, be careful putting the battery on the battery studs in the handle are not as strong as they should be. I actually leave my adapter in place and change out the battery only. OTHERWISE It works great. I have a 70' x 14' driveway with 5' walls on both sides. I start on the west wall and blow left towards the east wall. Most of the snow gets to the far wall and more so the close I get. As I get closer to the east wall I blow snow further and further up. It falls down in a much more steep angle of repose than I can do with a shovel. THEN I turn the direction to just a little to the east and shovel all the snow right down to the street and it does a great job getting it there. The nice thing at the end of the driveway, I don't pile snow up as I get out in the open the snow is spread over a much larger area and is far easier to deal with and melts faster on sunny days! Great. Most of this was done with my corded single stage Snow Joe, but this is easier by far. I was going over some older snow left with my regular shovel. Icier and heavier, ate right through it cleanly. Tried to buy another one for my wife's shop, but alas not available. I cannot stress how important the non-proprietary battery was to me. As long as it wasn't Nakita you can get a battery adapter easily! When I retired I sold/gave my Dewalt tools and other more professional tools to people who would use them for years. I bought a set of B+D tools that have done well for me now. The batteries work well and with the adapter that means I have one battery to rule them all! Those three 7.5 Ah batteries do my driveway and my 40' walk and my neighbors on both sides walks no problem. I hope they put this back on the market and I get a chance to buy one for my wife. Nit 2, the trigger lock is too sensitive. The blower slips out of lock with just a little jostle of the hand, like slab joints. Just fix that and I would be very happy. Note: once you get the trigger locked it takes a second for the paddle blade to spin up. Just know it will start. Would I buy again, YES! ... show more

  • Great purchase!
We live in Illinois and just got our first big snow today Feb 2025 and this thing worked great!!!! Only thing we wish is that it was a little wider but it took over 4 inches of snow on the sidewalk down to the cement. Love it!

  • Works well
It works excellent on very smooth surfaces. It does get hung up quite easily when there is any inconsistency in the surface.

  • Best purchase ever!
I had researched items similar to this for quite a while. Just after receiving this one a significant amount of snow fell. While there were maybe 8-10 inches of snow, it was light and fluffy. I took this out and started on my side walkway. Within just a few minutes the snow had been cleared! There was not a need to repeatedly blow the snow in the same area. In the next 20 minutes or so, I was able to clear my entire walkway and driveway. The snow on the sidewalk was more packed and this was more of a challenge to remove but not impossible. The machine is easy to use and the battery charges quickly. I very much like this product except for two minor things…I wish it was a little lighter and it is a little cumbersome to engage the switch on the handle each time the trigger is pulled. ... show more

  • The ease of using it as well as how long the battery lasts
Got to try this shovel out on our first snow of the year! Love how it works!! We had about 5” of snow overall but I started using it on the first 2” and loved how the battery lasted as well as the ease of how just went through the snow so easily.

  • TOO MANY RED FLAGS
For every instruction book topic there are several warnings. There are more warnings in this book than there are instructions. One of which says this: "WARNING! Always be aware of the location of your feet and children or pets when pressing the battery release button. NEVER remove the battery pack at a high position. Serious injury could result if the battery pack fails." So wtf do they mean by "high position"? Do I have to be lying down to remove the battery from the device? And what happens if I lost track of my feet, like if I forgot where they are and perhaps left them in the garage? Are they suggesting that pressing the battery pack release button to disengage from the handle or the charger can cause serious injury? That the battery pack can fail? How can the battery pack fail by disengaging it from the shovel/blower/charger? And in what manner can this failure manifest? Does it explode? Does it burst open and drain its contents all over my feet ( providing I didn't lose track of them and they are still attached to the bottoms of my legs), nearby children and pets? The instructions are printed in a font so small they can't be read without a magnifying glass. Only the topic labels ( in bold caps) are readable and they are in a size 2 font. The images are so small that there is no way to see what the instructions WARN you NOT to do. Piece of Chinese junk. So many red flags here- this lithium battery will be the one to explode and catch my garage on fire. I would be afraid to use this device. ... show more

  • Awesome for the price...
Mind you it only pretty much works with fresh snow and not ice but the back pulling option is great also. Didn't realize it had a top knob for directional snow throwing which is awesome. I usually just read the basic and look for something easier to use. This thing is a monster and throws snow pretty far. The video, with dude on his porch, is legit and the reason I bought it. I have dozens of Dewalt batteries which also work with it. Bang for the buck a MUST BUY!!! ... show more
