The media could not be loaded. I bought this WINNY POOL CLEANER while waiting for another pool cleaner. The price was apparently pre-season bc it was really low. I figured it would do until the other one came. Holy cow! This Winny is superior to the other one. I charged it up and placed it in the pool. It took off like a wild horse. (i know...different sp) It moves quickly and I thought it surely would miss stuff going so fast. Nope. Came back about an hour later and it was sitting patiently at the edge for me to retrieve. Pool still had stuff in it. Hmm. Picked it up and emptied it out...lots of small leaves, sand and twigs. After cleaning, it went back in to finish the job. Cleaning the Winny is easy. Just unsnap the 4 clamps and rinse out the base and the filter. Clamp it back up and either put it back in the pool or recharge if necessary. Mine actually runs a bit more than an hour, but an hour is the norm. You do need to pay heed to the notches when replacing the top. There are 2 little pins that need to be lined up. After lining up, just push down the clamps. I do NOT like where the charging port is. It's on the bottom of the cleaner. Not sure who thought that one up, but it is what it is. The power button is also there. Just push and drop it in the pool. Charging takes less than 2 hours. It also looks nice. Easy to pull out with the included hook that you attach to your pool pole. Even at the current price, I would definitely recommend this pool cleaner. I have been using mine several times a week for the past month with great results. My pool is a 12'x24' intex rail pool and curves at the bottom sides. Winny runs partway up the wall and then reverses to continue on. Mostly, if it encounters an obstacle, like the ladder, it will reverse and move on. I tip the ladder out of the way so it doesn't interfere.     • Great stuck every few minutes, second product return
First robot vacuum would stop moving after a few minutes, after a whole cycle of it not running more than 5 minutes we returned the robot to try another one thinking we just got a lemon. The second robot came and we had the same exact issue. Almost like there is a demo mode where it won’t complete a whole cycle. We have used various other pool vacuums with out issue - very disappointed. ... show more

    • Gets the job done, but not great.
It’s great for the price, but don’t expect it to get everything. I still have to go in with a hand vacuum and get a lot. It dies pretty quickly and gets stuck easily, so you kind of have to watch it. It’s great for sand and dirt, but not much larger debris.

I have ungraded my review and have some suggestions for all consumers! If you have a problem with the product for any reason REACH OUT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE before returning! This company is all about your satisfaction! They respond quickly and help you problem-solve. When I purchased my machine, I thought this little machine was going to be perfect. I have an 12’ round above-ground pool. The machine worked for one cleaning before docking. The basket is small and it filled quickly. I had to clean it out and put it back in for a second go around, but it won’t go. It went the middle of the pool and stopped. I returned it BEFORE checking with customer service! They reached out after my refund went through. They asked questions and walked me through potential solutions. They guaranteed if I tried the product again I would be very happy. They were correct! The media could not be loaded. I'm really enjoying my Winny pool vacuum. I've only used it 4 or5 times with this being the first time I've actually set and watch it work. My pool is an 18 ft round salt water and this little critters does a great job picking up even the smallest particles and powdery stuff. It's got enough power to push itself around the pool but without stirring up the surrounding debris. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because when the battery power starts to drop the vacuum occasionally gets stuck on the wrinkles on the bottom of my pool, which is more my fault for allowing them to be there than that of the vacuum. All in all this is a great little machine and well worth the money! ... show more

Starts out with good speed, within 10 minutes is crawling along at a snails pace. 30 minutes and is dead, needs to be recharged. Disappointed that charge is not what was advertised!!

Used several times and works good. I do manually at least once a month. Have 18 ft agp. Which is round. saves my back does take a full 4 hours to charge worth every penny. Happy old lady.
