Okay so with a name like DIY tools my expectations were low. The handle feels like it is to light for how heavy the impact is. I have used a lot of different cordless impacts over the years and as a rule I have never seen one that can take a lugnut off a wheel that has been tightened to 90 foot pounds or higher. I had a shoulder replacement and have had my arm in an immobilizer, and needed to change a tire. I grabbed this impact and my jaw hit the floor when it spun the lug off first try. Don't let the name fool you it has more juice than any cordless I have ever used. Also I was using a 20v dewalt batterie I don't know how it works with other brands powering the impact. ... show more

This should work perfectly for my situation! I decided that I want to carry an impact all the time with me in my truck just encase I get a flat tire and need to change out on the side of the road. I have a Dewalt impact at the shop but didn't want to forget to take it with me so I considered buying a second impact. I found this impact that runs on Dewalt 20v batteries and was surprised to see all the good reviews considering it costs almost half what the brand name is. Considering this impact is only going to be used If/When I have a flat, it seemed like a great option. I already carry a few other 20v tools in the truck, so batteries are always on hand. Upon receiving the tool, I immediately slapped on a battery to test it out on the truck. (Ram 1500) It broke the lugs loose with no problems. I had a 5ah battery on the impact and the weight was comfortable, the tool has a good grip design and seems to be made well. ... show more

Just got it and used it to do work on a farm disc harrow. Anyone knows about old farm equipment like discs knows they can be a pain sometimes. This impact wrench had no problem breaking rusted nuts loose. Dewalt batteries, and Dewalt compatible batteries work well with it. Very happy with purchase so far. ... show more

This impact wrench works really well; glad it works with my existing batteries. Only issue is it doesn't feel quite as strong as it claims to be. Not that it isn't a strong impact wrench... it is very strong and works very well.
