I really wanted to like this product due to my travel schedule and the ease and portability the straightener offered. I turned it on right away to test it out and it took forever to get the unit to full power. When I took it off the charger the power seemed to dissipate immediately registering only half power after a few minutes. Thought I did something wrong - went to recharge it again, and same thing happened. The unit's handle was also hot and that sealed the deal for me. I thought - great idea, but this unit will not work for me - I returned. So much for all the positive vine reviews, and in all honesty, I may have just gotten a defective unit, as sometimes that happens. ... show more

I have the full-size model and it works much better than this one. This travel version does not hold the charge very long. I only use it for my bangs and would like to use it for all of my hair.

This is a wonderful invention for people who want to straighten or tame frizz but don't want to use a straightener. This is quicker and easier

The battery barely lasted with one run through all my hair. My hairs isn't very thick, but it is long bout to the middle of my back. Maybe it'll work in shorter hair idk but it didn't straighten mine completely.

I am one to sleep in in the morning, but still want to look put together when I am at my job. The charge last for about two uses and then I have to pop it back on the charger. Easy to use in the car when I’m on my way to work and heats up fairly quick. It has fixed me on a few date nights as well! Downside would be I only get two uses out of it and then have to remember to put it on the charger. Other than that, it’s helpful. ... show more

    • Isn't worth the money
You have to watch what type of charger you use. Fast chargers are a big NO! In order to keep the battery from running out quickly, you must keep it plugged into the charger while using it. If you use it without the charger, the battery is depleted within in 10 to 12 minutes. Keeping it plugged into the charger while using it, makes it very difficult to manuever the brush. Even the hottest setting still doesn't straighten your hair, you still walk away with frizzy hair. The worst part for me is, my husband bought this for me just for a "thinking of you" kind of gift. No special occasion, just because, so he feels really bad that I had such a poor experience. It's not his fault at all. I'm being generous giving this product 2 stars out of 5 stars. ... show more
