The charge lasts a good while for my handyman stuff. Reverse and chuckless tip changing work easily. I found it doesn't like hard materials for driving screws (torque). Drywall-yes, fencing-no. The box it came is plain but a good size to store it in.

This is a really nice drill machine but is seriously impaired in being fully functional due to a flaw. First and foremost let me talk about some of the good things about this drill. POWER This really has good raw power and allows multiple speeds using a gauge. I was able to use it to drill a hole in the granite countertop which is not easy. This drill was able to do it. COMPLETENESS This is an important aspect of this drill machine. The number of parts and accessories that you get with this machine and in the overall package is actually very good. The packaging is very nice. So you have the drill, the battery pack, a snake to ensure that the drill is able to reach hard to reach places, multiple drill bits and multiple types of hex screwdrivers. CHARGING AND BATTERY LIFE On this count too, the drill machine does quite well. I don't know or remember the rating of the charger, however, it does last a fair amount of time once fully charged. The charging time is also quite low. The charging indicator was slightly confusing but eventually it worked out well. The charging indicator is actually on the plug that goes into the socket and not on the machine. And it turns from red to Green when the drill battery is fully charged. KEY LIMITATION Now on to the reason why the rating is three star and not anything more. To say the least, there is a real issue with the operation of the drill. Though it was able to cut through the granite in a single charge with the appropriate drill bit, the whole was skewed. It was skewed because the drill is not drilling in a straight line. There is a bit of wobbling and a bit of vibration when the drill machine is being operated and as a result it is not completely aligned to a straight vertical line or horizontal line. It' slightly goes at an angle and makes a strange noise. I was thinking of giving it two star rating but then it was functional and still usable though more for screwing and unscrewing and less for drilling In summary, a very promising product that checks most the boxes but has this key issue due to which the ratings suffered. Perhaps it could be an issue with the particular one that I have and maybe it's not a general issue. Assuming that, will still recommend that this we bought. ... show more
