Description

The Bestop Ascent is a complete soft top built specifically for the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JKU 4-door Unlimited. It brings the Bestop Sunrider open-air experience, fastback styling, and DOT-approved tinted windows together in a value-forward package — engineered to the same precision fit standard as every Bestop soft top. This is a 4-door only product. It does not fit the 2-door Wrangler JK. 2018 owners: Jeep produced both the JK and JL in the 2018 model year. This top fits the 2018 Wrangler JKU only — for 2018 JL fitment, see Bestop's JL soft top lineup. The built-in Sunrider feature gives front-row open-air access without removing the top. The rear section stays in place, keeping rear passengers and cargo covered. For a full open-air experience, remove the DOT-approved 30 mil tinted side and rear windows and run it as a Bimini-style top. The Ascent is designed for the seasonal top swapper and weekend top-off rider. Lightweight Black Diamond construction keeps the top manageable for solo install and removal. Top is nice quality- windows etc... Love the look Video instructions could have been more clear... Did two steps the wrong way and had to go back and re do because the instructions and video weren't clear enough- More visual looks would have helped......

If I could give negative stars, I would. Top arrived with incorrect parts. I contacted the manufacturer through Amazon and got the runaround for two weeks. The customer service department is a joke. I sent pictures to them for proof of purchase because they couldn’t see my purchase through Amazon. They repeatedly said they didn’t receive the pictures. I also sent a picture of the incorrect parts. (They sent two right facing brackets instead of a right and left facing bracket.) They said it had to go through their warranty department. Today the warranty department said they still needed proof of purchase and claimed that Amazon has the ability to repackage returned items so there’s no way they could be certain if the item having the wrong parts was their fault or Amazon’s. After a little more “digging” into the claim the representative found the proof of purchase. The representative said it had been approved for replacement parts on Monday 6/29 but the part has not been shipped yet. It’s supposed to be shipped out on 7/6. We have until 7/16 to return it to Amazon. So, Happy Father’s Day has turned into a customer service nightmare. If there’s anything else wrong with the top, once we are able to put it on our Jeep, we are afraid of the hoops and hurdles we’re going to face trying to get the warranty to cover it. Do not recommend this product or company. Edited to add photo of the part that was finally received on 7/11. Top was installed on 7/12 and we are waiting to see where it is going to leak the next time it rains. Zippers on back window don’t seal and I anticipate leaking. Top has gaps at front doors and potential for leaks. It looks great but we’re waiting for issues to arise. As far as Amazon goes, they’ve graciously agreed to extend their return window to allow us time to try out the top. ... show more

Great product! Took me a couple hours to install, but I was able to do it myself. Not too bad for a first timer! I had one piece that broke but I was able to fix it with super glue. I contacted the company and they are sending a replacement part. Overall I love the look, quality and functionality of the top!! ... show more
