UNISHADES Cordless Blinds for Indoor Windows - Sand I got these blinds for my pet's room because the sun turns it into a mini sauna during summer. The size ended up being just right, especially with the air conditioner sitting in the window. Installation was simple enough that I didn't have to Google a single thing (a small miracle). The color "Sand" actually matches the room really well - kind of neutral but not boring. The blinds go up and down easily without that annoying string you have to pull like you're starting a lawn mower. The cordless feature makes it look cleaner and feels a little fancier than it really is. My only small complaint is that the slats feel a bit thin - not bad, just not super sturdy. But for the price, I'm not mad about it. My pet seems happier now that the room stays cooler, and honestly, that's what matters. If you want something simple that does the job and doesn't look cheap, these blinds are a solid pick. Four stars from me - five if they can survive my cat trying to climb them next week.

These are decent shades. They look nice from a distance but the closer you get the less expensive they 'feel'. I'm just comparing them to others I've installed lately. These are right in the middle. Not the best at this price but definitely not the worst. The instructions are alright but I was missing some of the hardware that was most ideal for my situation. I decided to proceed with a less than ideal mounting configuration. They look nicer at a distance. The color works better the further you are away. When you get close to it, it looks less like conscious color choice & more like the blinds aren't clean, to be frank. I still like the way they look though. I'm mostly unhappy with the quality of the movement of the blinds when rotating the rod. They tend to stick in spots. I found them to be a bit of a pain to install but not worse than some others...not as good as the best either. They are right in the middle for me.

These are great blinds. They are very easy to use going up and down with little effort at all. So much better than dealing with pull cords that get tangled in the blind all the time. I installed these in a bathroom window that I had just remodelled with tile. I semi enclosed the window frame on the inside so that there would be no open edge for anyone to be able to see around from the outside. I thought to do it while I was thinking how to trim the frame opening as an after thought that worked well and paid off. I would recommend others to do the same if you like privacy in your bathroom spaces. These blinds made the job a lot easier to accomplish because of the different widths and lengths they are available in. Because of this I was able to get a blind within a half inch of the width of the window frame. Perfect! The blinds are well made and work very smoothly. I like the pattern on them as well because it is not just printed but there is an actual raised coating on them. I had to epoxy my mounts as I tiled the entire window opening and did not want to drill into it, but if I had not the mounts would have been adequate for holding them up. Great blinds!
