The Coravin wine system is one of my favorite gifts I've ever received. I like to just have one glass of wine on occasion and was always upset when a few days later I'd realize I let the rest of the bottle go to waste. The Coravin allows you to pour just one glass of wine at a time, saving the rest of your wine bottle (and helps save so much money in the process!). The device is surprisingly easy to use and feels sturdy. Its small so will not take up much room in your kitchen or bar.

Got this from my husband for Christmas and we absolutely love it! We were tired of our bottles of wine going to waste when we just wanted one glass on a weeknight. Was a little skeptical about this, but it came highly recommended. This is a great item to have if you are a wine drinker. You don't have to drink an expensive bottle in one night... Great investment! The big down fall is, you get cork in your wine. But only the first glass.

I typically keep 40-50 bottles of wine on hand, some stored in a wine refrigerator, that I replenish occasionally. I only drink a glass of wine at a time, usually on weekends, and my wife drinks even less. My sons rarely have wine when they visit on weekends. This meant I'd buy nice wines, open a bottle, but then end up pouring it out after a week. It got to the point where I almost stopped drinking wine at home because so much of it went to waste. Everything changed once I started using Coravin. Now, I can take any bottle, enjoy a glass, and that same bottle can be enjoyed for months later. I'm absolutely thrilled! Additional notes after finishing the first Coravin capsule: The capsule lasted longer than expected, preserving about five 750ml bottles before needing a change. I avoided using the capsule for the last bit of wine (around 150ml) to maximize its lifespan. Tip: When changing the capsule, remove the device from the bottle first to avoid accidentally introducing air into the bottle. Replace the capsule and re-insert the device for continued use.
