This dress proved to be “the dress” for our perfect day!! As someone who has lost over 60lbs since I became a widow in 2020, I have some areas that need some TLC when choosing outfits. I wanted something flattering, yet age-appropriate for our destination wedding. I was looking for something in a blue, as that is our favorite color, and versatile that I could wear again. I couldn’t have been more pleased with how the dress fit, wore, and photographed. It was elegant with a little bit of “sexy” to it, yet comfortable and easy to maneuver in. The fabric was soft and stretchy, yet photography friendly and didn’t wrinkle or stretch throughout the day and I was able to wear both a sweater and a shacket with the dress depending on the photograph and the temperature. I’m excited to say, I will be wearing this dress again instead of it being a one and done, and am even thinking of other ways to style it. I ordered this dress in a Medium for a formal dinner I went to. I am 5’3”, 160LBs ish, 34C, and wearing 3 inch heels in the photo. It was a little snug on me but very flattering and makes all your curves look amazing. I would say true to size and runs shorter than most. This will likely be short on those taller than 5’6” or 5’8” and wearing medium or smaller. If you don’t have curves then it will make it look like you do and you will be complimented all night. Material is not sheer at all although it’s a little thick. Can wear a normal bra and the outline may show but no color or sheerness. Cap sleeves are very flattering if you’re self conscious of your upper arms, as I am. More of a fall/winter dress rather than summer so you’ve been warned. The ruffles were not distracting or cheaply done, I was playing with the one on my legs because of nerves most of the night and being antsy! And this dress DOES ride up if you take longer steps as it is bodycon but there is ruching on the front of the dress that would disguise the look of the dress riding up. Overall a very flattering dress and I am impressed and holding on to it for future occasions! ... show more

I am 5’10”, 162 pounds and 36 DD, wore the XL. I originally ordered the Large, it fit me everywhere but the bust was too tight and I don’t like clingy clothes. The XL fit better all over. I thought the slit might be too high but friends said it wasn’t. When I wore it I was comfortable and didn’t have any problems with the slit. This was a pretty dress and was great for the price. It arrived too late and since I wasn’t able to wear it, I returned it. I did try it on before returning. I’m 5‘6”, 170-175, and a pretty solid size 10. I’ve had two kids and my belly is shaped differently than before kids. My hip area is slightly bigger than average. The dress was a bit snug in the belly and hip area. If this had come in time and was my only option, I would’ve still worn it, but due to it being a bit tight it wouldn’t have been the most flattering for me.
