Update: 23Dec23 Device is failing again ... ugh Update: 10June22 Finally got connected with Aveine (USA) customer service. They got a replacement device out right away and new device working great. It’s a bit spendy but I definitely missed it while waiting for replacement. If you’re drinking great/fine wine this is an excellent device. Original Review: I really like the idea/ethos of this aerator and when it works it is a lot of fun. However, my unit stopped working after only 3 or 4 months and customer service is non-existent. I've emailed a few times but no response. The iOS App is useless from a wine perspective -- really just a glorified firmware update utility. At any rate, love the device and do actually think it delivers legitimate aeration but poor quality control so it's hard to rate more than 2 stars given the $$$.

I've been using my Coravin for few years now and thought it was the only wine accessory I would need, but I was mistaken: there's Aveine as well! My uncle used to tell me: "Wine has its ritual: opening, aeration, the right glass, and then the pleasure. Don't miss any of the steps or the last one won't be complete." So I always used to decant a good bottle in a carafe, but had to wait or guess at a random time. With Aveine I really can enjoy my wines at their best (even a $20 bottle you think you wouldn't have to decant), but without the waiting time. It is even fun to be able to play with different aeration times as I go. It is far more than a gadget, it enhances the moment. A+++++

Wow. The Aviene is fantastic. Really opens things up. My fiancé and I did a side by side test two of the same bottles and there is a discernible difference in taste, in a good way. This pretty much instantly opens up any bottle of wine in no time at all.

I recently discovered Aveine with a French friend who's my "resource" in terms of wine knowledge. I have to say I was blown away when he had me use the aerator. We spent an entire evening trying it out with many bottles, and I even discovered the benefit on whites! I wouldn't have thought that you can aerate white wines and get a much better taste. I immediately ordered one and can't wait to introduce it to my own vino friends. I hope the wine base in the app will grow - I've already entered a couple Napa wines that were not in, but playing manually with the aeration time on the device screen brings some very nice surprises. Can't wait to continue using and experiencing what this aerator can do!...

Just received my wine aerator (not only am I a wine lover, but also a tech addict!) and I am so impressed by the AVEINE. I was skeptical but after trying this with a few different wines, it works beautifully. It's also fun to try and explore different aeration times. It is amazing to (re)discover the wines you think you know through real and efficient aeration. Accompanying app still needs some improvement--I noticed a couple of my wines were not in their list so I had to search around to find the right aeration time. But overall, was very impressed and would definitely recommend the AVEINE!

The $600 product (24h) was great for 15 wine bottles over the course of 1 month. No complaints. And then it stopped charging. YES, it has lot of charging complaints..and mine simply does not charge with so many trials. So I went from a HUGE FAN to Avoid French hardware products. Just like my Eurocave wine cellar broke down. May be I should build a better product?? I love French wine :)

First of all, it's expensive, but the product is cool and does mostly what's it supposed. App is really useless. Fits only regular bottles. Nowadays, we see all sorts of types of bottles, so unless you keep an empty bottle to put your expansive wine in it {i personally won't do it}, it's useless. So for the price, it's kinda hard not to be disappointed.

I’m super pleased because I can drink red wine again!!! I’ve been taking a medication that causes me to get heartburn when I drink red wine. I’m thrilled that I didn’t get any as a result of using this device. I poured a non-aerated taster first, and then a 4 hour aeration and then a 10 hour. I kept going back to non-aerated glass to confirm I was really tasting a difference. 10 hour was perfect! Packaging is smart, sleek, and not wasteful. LOVE the red ribbon to easily get to items underneath and the finger holes to get the charging dock and usb cable out!
