I found that I needed a small sewing kit. The kit comes in a black zippered case, smaller than a typical book. I was very pleased that it included scissors, needles of various sizes, snaps, a great variety of thread, and everything else shown in the product description. Since purchase, I've used it several times. It's easy enough to just make a quick fix. For the price, I think this is a great buy. If you sew often, you probably need a more involved kit but this is great for the average person.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Personally I have been wanting to buy a sewing machine, but since it’s such a big purchase I chose this instead to see if I would truly have a passion for it. Although its not the same thing I would still like to see what I can stick on to my clothes to make them look better and might as well learn some basic skills.

Good sewing kit for the value. It is easy to carry with you on trips or moving. The functionality of the case is slightly wonky but nothing too crazy to complain about. I would recommend for small repairs that you aren’t looking for a super long term solution for or wouldn’t mind patching again.

She bought some fabric and made little drawstring pouches. She uses this thing like everyday! So many thread choices and little tools included! This is prefect for quick repairs when you don’t want to pull a sewing machine out. I’d love for the thread scissors to be a little bit more sturdy, but they do the job. Good value for the money!
