I tried this for the first time recently and have now had it several mornings. I brew with a French press and it's been fabulous each time. I really enjoy different flavors, but most of them come in medium roast which for me doesn't have enough purpose. These beans if you like to blend with a medium is wonderful and just as groovalistic on its own. Economically priced and from a small business, both big pluses to me. Next time I order I'll hit up the subscription and try some others. I was delightfully surprised that I found this roast on my first try. It is truly wondermous! Only drawback is the tape closure for the bag. I use a clip, you'll need one as well unless you use a vacum sealed container. The tape won't keep it flavorful past a couple of openings. This coffee has a bargain price. I think the beans are covered in oil; they are shiny and grounds always stick to the bottom of my grinder. First time this has happened. EDIT: This is not as good as the last time I bought this brand. Tastes like what you get at a diner, but that's how it's priced. It is a good bargain. Keep it in the freezer. I added a bit of ground espresso on top, and it gives the coffee more depth. I might reorder based on price. It beats Folgers. ... show more
