Seats the headset nicely so that it doesn't accidentally get stepped or sat on.

Kids are silly. When you buy them a $500 toy, naturally they're going to want to treat it the same as their $5 toys. When they're done, they'll throw it on the floor, on the couch, on the dog... it doesn't matter. Well after my son not playing with the system for a few weeks because he "forgot to charge the controllers", I decided to get him this so that dead controllers will never be a problem again. This provides a nice little home for your new 'way too expensive' toy when everyone's done with it. A couple of caveats. First, don't lose the charging plugs. They go right into the controller and stay there. They are magnetic and will catch the other end to make charging the controllers a breeze. Second, make sure the headset viewer is pulled out from band all the way. Otherwise, the headpiece won't sit in the stand completely. Otherwise, this is working as intended, and is helping the family remember to keep the device charged so it's ready to play whenever. ... show more

Does not work
Returning. The unit I received does not charge the controllers. I am returning. Unlike the other reviewer I will not be ordering this until I get one that works. I will be taking my business elsewhere as there are obvious quality control issues.

One side didn't charge!
Be sure to check that they work, I had to exchange it! The exchanged came to working but didn't have the magnetic plugs! So either I was unlucky or be ready for an exchange or two before everything works.
