I bought this chair in preparation for surgery. I will not be able to do much with my arms when the time comes. It is rather disappointing that the controls for the reclining portion are not on a remote but based in the side of the chair on the right side. The chair itself seems a bit too firm for my liking especially since it is something that I am going to be spending considerable amount of time in. I have bought a cheapy mattress topper and use it to relieve some of the discomfort when using it as a bed. I have reached out to the manufacturing company today to request assistance on finding the part number to order the power cord for heat/massage unit as the cord is very thin and mine is broken with normal use of the chair looks like it was pinched in the folding process.... Overall I should have looked around more I guess and made sure I got the remote the way I wanted it. I was really looking forward to heat and massage since it seems I am always cold and achy. When the heat did work it was nice. The massage was a bit week could have used more pressure to really feel it especially in the lower areas. ... show more

This chair is super comfy so far, plays very flat and has a lot of massage features. The labels on the massage and heat remote are difficult to read so that could be improved but it has lots of options for different modes.

Easy to assemble, comfortable, works great except lift operations buttons are down on the right side and not on a separate remote which is described in the text and shown in the the images used to promote it. I specifically got this chair for the independent controls because I cannot use my right arm. Now the chair is useless to me because I can’t recline it or use the lift function unless someone operates it for me. . I see now that there are many less expensive models offered by other companies that should have bought. I was not able to assemble it myself but the family members that did it for me said that it was very easy. ... show more

be careful in flat position balance is off and you can fall backwards. I did, needs longer base or some sort of bar extender to keep from tipping backwards while lying flat.
