Looks well built but first time I used it a gust of wind pulled out the stakes and flipped it on its side and broke several of the metal pieces and bent and cracked others so it can’t be repaired. The material held up great with no holes or rips so it wasn’t a violent gust of wind so now I have a perfect cover and no way to hold it up. I need to see if I can buy just the frame and figure out how to reinforce it. Kind of pricy for something that was only up maybe 8 hours. But it was beautiful just can’t believe it was so weak, maybe I just got a bad one. Might try again. ... show more

This canopy was probably the best one I've had yet. I frequent the coast in South Carolina and any local in SC or visitors know that the coast can be quite windy. Initially I almost was unable to set up this canopy due to high winds and attempting to attach the canopy to the poles, but once I managed to get it together, it was fantastic. You do have to use all supports and the sand bags to make sure the stakes aren't pulled out completely in high winds. I found that if you pull the rope holding the edges of the canopy into the sand on each of the four corners, dig a hole about a foot or so down into the sand, staking your rope down there and re-burying it provides the best support. All in all, it was wonderful (as a pale man myself) to sit on the beach with my wife and son (who are both very tan and don't sunburn immediately like I do) and enjoy the waves. ... show more

I ordered this tent for a festival to set up a booth for my business. With just me and my sister & watching some other guys and how they were doing it, we figured it out pretty easy. We actually made it harder than it was. At some point it stopped going up or down but all we had to do is keep holding the red buttons down & it slides on its own. Excellent shade from the sun. I do like my canopy- I love the blue color and how it comes down on each pole. I had an issue from a windy day experience that the company was amazing to work with. It wasn’t my fault nor theirs- just a “freak accident” and they were so helpful. Customer Service is 5 star! I can’t set it up by myself and have broken it a few times but luckily I have spare parts so it’s easy to fix- only broke it when trying to set it up myself not knowing where not to put pressure. I hope it was just a defective one. It broke at 1st set up. It was the flat thin bars on sides. The same one broke all the way down. They are replacing it. Stay tuned for another review.

It is well made and the material is not cheap. The design keeps it from blowing over. What really was sucky was how difficult it was to put up! It took two people and by the time it was up, sadly, NO ONE was in a good mood!
