This is unit is so quiet. We have it installed in our skoolie and it cools the entire 40ft bus in south Florida in the middle of this heat wave. I am so happy we went with the system.

OK, you DIYers You may know how to do and be totally qualified but the unit can be a piece of junk unless installed by a LICENSED $$$ installer. Then no warranty. The pictures above show that the left / right air control were installed under the plastic cover and bent at the factory. What now C/H ??? We all looked and missed until I tried the remote and found out that it was only manual adjustment and saw the bent louvers. Very easy to miss. Tell me how to repair please.......Oh by the way this is a Quality unit! Just some poor assembly. ... show more

I’ve had this for 3 months now and so far it is great. I installed most of it myself and had a local hvac contractor make the final connections and checks so I could maintain the warranty. The hvac guy charged me $150 for his work so keep that in mind when pricing. The remote and WiFi app are a little sketch but I was able to keep tabs on my house for two weeks while out of town and turn it on and off. Some things I want to point out. I purchased a 24k btu unit for a room that is 850 sq ft. When the outside air is 90 degrees I am able to kick this thing on 62 degrees with turbo fan setting and it will drop the room temp 1 degree every 15 min with no limit other than the set temp.... that in itself is fantastic! One thing I don’t like is even though this machine claims it is energy star certified, it doesn’t qualify for the $800 energy rebate my local utility offers, this was a pretty big disappointment considering I paid extra for this one to get the rebate. One last thing, if your app constantly says the unit is offline, then you need to reset the unit at the breaker in the panel, just flip the breaker, count to ten, then flip it back on and it will work. I’m rating this unit 5 stars but to be honest, I’d likely buy a unit that is officially energy star rated in order to get a better unit with the rebate for the amount spent. Supply items I had to buy to install cost roughly another 200 bucks, my unit was 40 feet from my breaker panel and 23 feet between indoor and outdoor unit. Hope this helps. EDIT: I used this unit to heat my house in the late fall and now early spring, it is a great heater and will heat down to about 5 degrees outside. I tested it at negative 2 and it still heated but was only pushing out 117 degrees compared to the 130's and 140s at the higher temps. Also, if your app constantly tells you that you are offline, you can flip the disconnect switch (if you installed) right next to the indoor unit, off then on and it will reset the wifi. Had an issue with the warranty registration and called their phone number listed on the website. Got right through to a guy who helped me out in 5 minutes flat and got the warranty straightened out. The units work great, one thing to note: If you're trying to figure out how to get the temperature for heating to go below 62 you have to put it in Freeze Prevention mode (FP) but hitting the temp down on the remote twice quick when it's at 62. Took me ages to find that one, it's in a garage and we only need to keep it above freezing during the winter. Can't say how efficient it is, haven't gotten the first electric bill since install. ... show more

Worked amazingly cool and quiet for nearly a year after having installed it, then started to freeze up on the interior side of the wall. A few days after that it stopped pumping cold or hot air depending on the setting and would only leak water or ice. Since there is virtually no warranty this also makes getting it repaired a total waste of time and everytime I call a professional I am asked if it is warranted only to be refused service since it is not. I've since also found out through a friend that there is a leak after having recharged the system and having it escape again. Now even though I know of this leak I have no way to repair it and am essentially stuck with an oversized industrial paper weight in scorching southern california summers without any repairmen willing to work on this thing. ... show more
