It’s an excellent quality memory foam-style pillow. The outer quilt feels soft and comfy. Unfortunately, for my lumbar back, it was way too thick and stiff. After 2 days I removed the extra 1” foam insert that was pre-cut by the company. It was still too thick and un-giving against my lower back. After 10 more days, I cut the inner foam piece using an electric turkey knife. It was easy. First, I cut the pillow down from 21” to 17” long so it would fit better on my office chair. Then I cut ½” off the flat back side to make it 3.5” deep. Finally, I sewed my own black suede covering on top. Now, with my modifications, it looks and feels beautiful.

I'm just sharing my personal experience. I'm not getting anything for my honest review. I bought this because my chiropractors office uses a similar pillow under my knees during therapy but this one is way better than the one they use because it's firmer, higher, has one side that's flat & feels better to my back. (I should take this pillow with me to my next chiropractor visit & show it to them) I can use this pillow under my knees while sleeping on my back or between my knees on my side. It's difficult for me to describe. I know it sounds silly but the pillow feels like a sturdy stuffed animal if I cuddle with it while watching tv in the living room. It's a comfortable feeling for me as a grown up. I used this under my neck one night because I was having headaches and felt I needed to try it as a neck pillow. I remembered reading reviews from others using the pillow under their necks so I thought I'd try it that way, too. I got so much relief using this pillow under my neck. It's the first pillow to ever feel right for me under my neck. I could feel it aligned my neck the way it should be. I am grateful because my chiropractor said I only need to be adjusted 1 time a month now & I feel it is partly due to using this pillow. I fell asleep on the couch without my pillow last night and my neck hurts so I know this pillow really has made a huge impact on my body in a wonderful way. The problem for me was since I started using it on my neck I was having to use a regular pillow under my knees. Once I realized how much this pillow was making my neck feel better I knew I needed to order another one so I could use one for my neck and knees. My husband agreed for me to order another one, so I did & received it today. I feel he should order a couple for himself. This 2nd pillow order came with an offer for a free pillowcase protector for a regular bed pillow with the option of ordering the size of my choice. The first one did not come with the free pillowcase protector offer (it doesn't fit these pillows) but it's free so I ordered it. There is no shipping on it either so it really is free. I don't know what it will look like when I get it but the photo of it looks nice and it was a nice unexpected surprise. This Half-Moon Bolster pillow I bought comes with a nice removable cover that feels soft and is quilted. Mine is an off-white color with taupe colored markings and the words HOME GOODS on it. My pillows both came wrapped tight in bubble wrap and when I unwrapped the plastic mine expanded to the full size right away. It would be nice if these came in a choice of other colors but that's not as important to me as this pillow has a removable washable cover, even though it's not my ideal color. The instructions say do not wash the actual foam pillow but the cover can be removed my unzipping it on the bottom, take it off and hand wash in cold water, then line dry. I haven't done that yet. But when I do, if there is a problem I will come back and update my post. I'm extremely pleased with these pillows. SIDE NOTE: Currently, while I type this I actually have my laptop resting on one of the pillows on my lap. It brings my laptop up to where it should be to prevent stress on my neck. (I'm a 5'9" tall women) I am also a woman of many words sometimes but I don't always leave long detailed reviews like this one. However, If I help one person by writing this review, it's worth it to me. :)

I use this pillow under the back of my knees to relieve low back pain. It works well and is supportive for back and side sleeping. I’ve been using this half bolster-style for over 25 years and I wouldn’t be able to sleep without the support. it relieves low back pain. The pillow cover is very pretty and soft to the touch. However, the zipper and a sharp piece of the plastic form protrude at the closure of the zipper. The zipper does not have a fabric fold over it to cover the zipper. I’ve added another pillow case to cover this zipper. I give the pillow 4 stars for the support. OVER a short period of usage, I’m taking away stars because the cover has begun to get holes. And the extra foam insert (it came with two foam inserts/fillers) has become annoying to reassemble. The fillers have already begun to compress and are not as supportive. I would NOT buy this product again!

Well-made pillows. Versatile. We use four of these pillows to prop a bed-bound senior. Effective for supporting knees and calfs to float heels. Comfortable, and patient's legs do not slide off the pillows. Patient sleeping better with use of these pillows. Also used to support back and hips. In some instances, we place two pillows side-by-side in a queen pillow case. Fine-quality covers that came with pillows are soft and snug, but not difficult to unzip, wash, replace. Items shipped quickly in secure packaging with detailed care and use instructions. Pillows gained loft right away when removed from packaging. Highly recommend for efficient, safe, dignified, comfortable care for bed-bound patient.

I have chronic back pain and was trying to find a great back and side sleeping knee pillow. I received my Coop Half Moon Pillow in a very small box. Interesting how that fit it in there. Here are my opinions on the purchase. The Good: Very firm and that is what I like in a knee pillow. A knee pillow should support your knees while laying on your back. There is less than a inch of compression and I am a big guy, 215lbs. A nice extra is that this pillow is good for lumber support while sitting in an office chair or even in your car or truck. The Bad: There should be an option for a pillow case with this pillow. The zip case that comes with it a thin, with a weak zipper and fabric that will friz up. A optional pillow case would be nice. The Ugly: This is not a good pillow for side sleeping with the pillow between your knees. It is not wide enough to do much good. Under knee support while laying on your back it is great, Between the knee support while laying on your side is a big thumbs down. Summary, worth the money but I am still trying to find a good knee pillow for both back and side sleeping. Perhaps I should have gone with a fully round pillow and not a half moon or a smaller size firm regular pillow that is 4-5 inches deep. The search continues, but this pillow will be used until I get a better one.
