I’m gonna make this review just so other people will know what I went through so they can make the best decision. I originally had a memory foam mattress and it was killing my back so we were constantly flipping it around switching between the one my husband was using and mine. For reference, we have a split king so each one is a twin XL. So we would just rotate back-and-forth flip it up and down because it was constantly hurting me. I decided just to replace my side because the mattress that we had bought before was a few thousand dollars and I wasn’t willing to spend that again. I found this one and it had great reviews so I thought I’d give it a try. I will tell you that my back pain was fixed the first night. That part is wonderful about it. So if you have back pain and you’re a back sleeper, I can attest to the help that it gives. The problem is I have cervical spondylosis in my neck. I can’t turn left or right I can only sleep on my back and now because of the firmness of the mattress it made every pillow and the pressure it was putting on my neck and head so intense. I went through six different pillows, kept trying to change something And nothing was helping. So I was very miserable. Finally we put an egg crate topper and then a memory foam topper on top of that and I was able to stand it. So now it’s really helping with my back and not hurting my neck. My son came to visit and I decided to give him my bedroom and move temporarily to another room. But I needed to buy beds in a hurry. I'm not an impulse buyer, so I checked specifications and compared with other leading brands before deciding on this one. It compared favorably with other more expensive mattresses I researched. I ordered medium-plush, since many reviews I read mentioned it's more on the firmer side. It was definitely the right choice! This mattress has exceeded all my expectations! It's firm, but the upper layers feel so cloudy, soft, and lovely. I like it so much that I have not gotten back to my room for three months, and now I'm thinking of fitting my other bed with one of these. I'm a side sleeper and this mattress fits around my body perfectly. I'm enjoying a full night's sleep for the first time in years! I wake up naturally and well rested. This mattress is a great value for the price! It was easy to set up, has no smell, is stable on the bed frame, and looks great. I got the 14 inch and found it a little high at first, but it's much easier to get into Best sleep in years!and out of bed, so now I love it. I wish I had purchased it sooner.     • Firmer than expected but otherwise a good bed

This is an update to my original review. After posting my dissatisfaction with the firmness ago the mattress and my ability to teach customer service, someone from the company reached out. They do so quickly - within 24 hours. They said they do not have a dedicated website or a phone number to customer service (the website I had found may have been a fake?). They were very willing to help with facilitating a return. I opted to continue using the mattress for awhile longer to see if I might get used to it and they let me know I could return it if I continue to find it uncomfortable. They also took note of the “decorative” handles and said they would share that with their manufacturers. While I still think the mattress is firm and not plush, their quick reply and the quality of the mattress overall has prompted me to update the review. My husband seems to like it and has no complaints. We are both side sleepers. He is 6’8” tall and weighs maybe 220? I am 5’10” and weigh 160. I am going to try a twin padded layer on my side and see if that helps. This mattress is listed as being medium plush in terms of firmness. It is not plush. Not at all. It is quite firm. If I wanted a firm mattress, I might be happy with it. I am inclined to return it but was going to wait to see if I might get used to it. The listing states that there is a 100 day trial window if you are not satisfied. I went to the company‘s website and sent an email asking for information about that. No one has responded to me. And the phone number they list on the website is not in service, which doesn’t give me a lot of confidence. It was such a hassle getting this delivered from Amazon. I’m going to have to see if I can return it via Amazon. The other issue with it is that it doesn’t have any handles on the sides. The picture of the mattress would make you think that there are handles. But it turns out it is just fancy stitching with no other purpose than to be deceptive. The mattress weighs a ton so it’s very hard to lift the corners to put the sheets on when there’s no handle with which to grip it. ... show more
