This Hot Pink Heat Press is truly a dream come true! The color is absolutely stunning bold, vibrant, and exactly the kind of energy I wanted in my workspace. For a crafters heat press, this works well. It heats quickly, and the user interface is bold and easy to see. Changing the settings requires reading the manual so you understand the functions. It came set to degrees in Celsius, so I had to read how to change that, probably the least obvious function to figure out of you don't have the manual. I like that the countdown timer starts when the press is closed, and it also has a counter for how many units you've pressed. The slideout tray helps with loading and unloading of materials. I also dig the star cutouts on the base of the machine, and the durability of the material and design. This press comes in either hot pink or guacamole green. I ended up with the guac green because I couldn't wait an extra day for the pink. There are a few places where this press fall short of being a professional apparel decorating option. There is no sensor for how much pressure when closed. The platen is NOT interchangeable with smaller platens. The big one for me is that I can't put a garment on around the platen, you have to lay the garment flat on the platen, which makes it harder to ensure centering of your image. There's also not a lot of clearance between the platen and the hinge for the garment to bulk up, like say if you are pressing a sweatshirt, you need somewhere for the additional material to go. Overall, this is probably one of the best presses of its category on Amazon. I've destroyed a few of the others, and this one, so far, has been better. It's not an end to all means, but it is a solid option that will get you by in a pinch. This review has been brought to you by an apparel decorator that has a fair bit of experience with screen presses and heat presses.

Works great. Pros: love that the plate slides out so it is easy to position the shirts/hoodies. Con: if you set the pressure too high (which you have to guess at) it can be hard to open. I had a hoodie in it and had a hard time opening it on my first attempt. Lesson learned! Tips: I recommend setting the pressure and testing it BEFORE your turn it on. Also, be sure to set it on a no slip pad as it will slide when opening otherwise. Highly recommend it.

I went from an HTV ront automatic press to this. Mainly due to the ability to adjust pressure. I will not go back to an automatic. I feel like these manual presses are where its at. It has proven to be durable. It is not super heavy so if I need to move or transport I can. There is no noise other than the reminder that the timer is up. It would be more stable if I didn't have it on a plastic folding table but that is no fault of the press.

This has been the worst experience I've ever had. This will be the 1nd presser I send back. The lead panel does not change, the book has no specific instructions on how to change it. The alarm does not stop beeping, it goes on and on consistently. The second stay flashing and will not count down. The heat setting stays flashing. The reset button does NOTHING. I am done. I will return this 2nd one and will not order it again
