Easy install, things you need to know are - 1. The Fan Shroud will probably not line up - you will need to bench it and grind out in various directions the holes and slots - The Top Drivers side is a single hole with no slot in the plastic there so use that as a locator and grind out all the other ones to fit, that way your fan will still be pretty much in the center of the shroud. 2. You will probably need transmission cooling line fittings, there are two that come with it. a 3/8" and a 1/4" - The 1/4 was too small for my jeep and you can get the internal tapered seat 3/8" fitting at Autozone. (or others) Good Product, experiencing no issues thus far. looks good.. but not a perfect fit.. Nothing ever is anymore anyhow. ... show more

    • Fit 2000 TJ... shroud required some adjustments
Installed in a 2000 TJ. Appears well made and the radiator fit fine...BUT the shroud required a bit of adjustment. First, three of the fan shroud slots had to be expanded with a dremel tool to line up with the nutserts on the radiator. Second, the original fan shroud bolts didn't fit the pre-installed nutserts. This required a bit of trial and error to determine the size of the nutserts, and then a trip to the hardware store for new bolts (four M6-1.00 X 25 bolts.) Would have been nice if they were included! Spent more time dealing with that, then I did removing the old radiator, flushing out the cooling system, installing the new radiator, etc. ... show more

UPDATE: over 10k miles, 6 months later, and not a single cooling/temp issue. Not a drop leaked. Heater kept me warm in the winter, and so far the engine hasn't gotten above normal sitting in traffic during all this heat. It's earned it's 5 stars from me. 2006 Jeep TJ with the 4.0l and auto trans. Came packaged pretty solid. No dents or busted fins. Fairly clean and straight welds. Hefty built. Mine came with removable barb fittings for the trans lines. My factory radiator has quick connects, but easy to remove and adapt to the barb fittings. This radiator slid right in. All bolt holes lined up fairly well. Bottom shroud holes were a hair off but it's plastic so took no effort to get the bolts in. All hoses popped right on. My 1st impression is this radiator appears well built. Easy to install in factory location with no modifications. After 20 min drive to work, mix of highway and city stop & go traffic, the engine temp stayed right under the 210° mark (195° stat). Didn't fluctuate temps and more importantly no leaks! I'll definitely update my review if this radiator doesn't live up to expectations. So far I'm happy with the purchase. ... show more

    • Leaked right out of the box.
I had two of these delivered. The first had some damage to the water jacket and cooling fins so I didn’t even take a chance on installing it. The replacement looked ok so I installed it. It started dripping immediately without even starting the motor. The shroud holes didn’t exactly line up and the shroud had to be modified. This radiator is very lightweight. My jeep hardly goes offroad but it seems a little fragile for serious offroaders. I’m sending it back and going to a radiator shop. ... show more

    • Hole alinement
The hole alinement for the fan shroud slightly off. Had to cut holes 1/4” on fan shroud on top to fit. However I do like the idea of a welded radiator over the plastic ones. Transmission hose fittings 2 different sizes. 3/8 on one side and 1/4 inch on the other. Not a big deal I just used the old ones off old radiator. Anyways the new hose fittings were aluminum The old ones copper. Overall I think it’s a good replacement. Time will tell the whole story. Been over a year I changed the rating to 5 stars! Never a problem one and Jeep runs 10 degrees cooler ... show more

Unrepairable, had to replace again, I would suggest getting something with a longer warranty.

This is a quality radiator with no problems so far. It keeps my engine considerably cooler than the stock radiator. The only issue I have come across is that the bottom hole to bolt it in place on the passenger side is off by a mile to connect the stock radiator shroud. I had do drill a hole in the bottom of the radiator shroud to make it work. Not difficult to do, just unexpected. Other than that, this baby has been perfect so far. ... show more

Nice radiator fit well the only issue is the rivnuts are a different size than original bolt size,so needed to find different bolts for fan shroud.
