I’m 5’7” and 180 pounds. The XL was fine width-wise and definitely stretched to fit, but the placement of the seams was definitely weird on me and I’m not extremely tall. If you’re below 5’5” or so, these should be just fine! However, they’re a little short for women above that height. They’re not too thick, so they’re good for layering under other pants, but I do think they provided a nice extra layer of warmth. Not Arctic-approved, but decent for winter conditions. My main use case will be wearing these under pants in 10-32 degrees Fahrenheit, and I think they’ll be just fine for that. The transition from my own skin to the lining in the ankle area was honestly pretty smooth, and I think it would be hard to notice that transition unless you were looking for it.

These are pretty nice. Feels like decent quality, the faux sheer looks good, and the inside is super soft and pretty warm. They are super high waisted as well. My only complaint is that they run small. I normally wear a large, but ordered this in an XL trying to be safe; However, these were still pretty tight, and even after pulling them all the way up, the crotch still hung down way too far. If you order these, I’d recommend going 2 sizes up.
