sleeping on my side, I find this firm enough to keep head elevated, keep my neck straight. Even on my back, it will let my average head weight compress the foam cushion.

Got these pillows for my husband because he gets very warm at night and wanted to try a “cool” pillow to help him out a bit. These pillows are made well and are as firm as the day we got them. However, neither of us has noticed any considerable difference in pillow temp. My husband likes the firmness, but I was hoping the pillow would soften over time. It’s so firm that I get neck aches from the pillow. My husband does not. So it’s probably just personal preference as far as firmness. As far as the cooling effect, it’s not going to be make a huge difference.

I rarely write reviews, but I slept the first night with no neck pain. I usually try to find flat pillows but the fiber fill eventually either clumps up or becomes matted down with no support. Unlike some of the one-line reviews here, I only detected a slight odor after opening and left the pillow out for the recommended 6 hours. It would really be expected since memory foam is a chemical after all and then vacuum wrapped. After seeing the height of the pillow, I expected to have to remove over half the fill but thought I would try one night. Usually, a new pillow I buy lasts about 1 hour before I throw it in the floor and get the old one. I was surprised that I didn't need to remove anything. It was soft and I sank into the pillow, but it was still supportive on my side and back. I can't say anything about the "cooling" aspect because I really didn't buy it for that. I was not hot all night, warm but not any kind of active cooling I could tell. Having had memory foam mattresses, some of those get hot with body heat during the night. I assume the claims of cooling relate to the fact that with the shred/breathable cover it allows some heat to escape. Probably more sales spinning than actual fact but I never felt overheated.

I really liked these pillows for the first month or so. I like that you can adjust them with the filling, they’re pretty comfy in general. But over the last few nights, I’ve started noticing that they have gone bad/flat/dents. I was waking up in the night to fold them over and try to get them comfortable. I even added the very last bit of filling out of desperation. I just checked back to see how long I’ve had them, it’s only been two months! There is no way $44 pillows should only be good for two months. I’m sad

These are the best pillows I have had in my 60 years of life. The information says that you can take some of the memory foam out, but they were just perfect for me with how they arrived. You know how when you get a good night's sleep, you feel like a whole different person? These pillows did this for me. This is not a fake review. I've bought and sent back other pillows I've bought on Amazon. (Which can be a hassle, especially if you are trying to return something that was packaged as memory foam. It's like, "What? How can I possibly fit these pillows back into such a small box?) I will say there is a certain chemical smell to the pillows when you first use them. However, that went away. Plus, I just sprayed them with Febreeze and no worries from then on. I have to say, I am usually disappointed buying things on Amazon which get really good reviews. I guess it's personal preference in so many ways. Sincerely, I would buy these pillows for the rest of my life!
