I have had these before and like them much, so ordered again: Repeat Review: First Impression: very nice. I was concerned they wouldn't fit me. I am a big guy but they are snug without being too tight at all. A photo there of one. Unfortunatly I have to hold the phone with the other hand. Beleive me it looks very close to this one. :) If I wear these out just have 'a' pair. I'll order them again. A Tip: I like these even more. I have damaged skin on each arm from years of sun. Symptoms are dry patches that seem to want try to form flaky scabs. I put these on and during the day I pat them with water in the trouble spots. These spots have almost disappeared, reacting to the moisture. And if I don't wear them for a couple of days, even more, the healing remains. If they start to appear again I wear them dampened for a day. ALSO: if they are tight on you, try not to pull them up your arms by the stitching. You know how stiching is on about anything these days! Save the stiching!

I took these for a quick test jog (2 mi) in moderate NorCal weather (sunny, mid-day, 65F, low humidity, zero wind) and was surprised at how well they worked. The most surprising thing is they felt as cool or even cooler than bare skin. With even a moderate pace (9-10 min/mi) I could feel a cooling effect on my arms. I never felt uncomfortable while jogging. However, after I got home I left them on and as I type this I can see my sweat building up, especially inside the inner elbow. So you'll need some motion to get the evaporative effect going. I couldn't test the UV blocking but holding it up to the light without stretching it I can see that it's tightly woven and blocks a good amount of sun. Construction wise it's ok - the stitching seems a bit loose but at this price point I don't blame them. Also the ends and seams are rolled so if seams bother you then don't get this; they didn't bother me at all. The overall length could be a bit longer by 1" or so because I'm 5'10" and moderate build and I could use a bit more coverage on the wrists. One great feature they should add is a hole for an Apple Watch to stick out, similar to the Brooks jogging insulated hoody.

My husband has sun allergies rash and his skin gets peeled off too when exposed for long time in sun. These sleeves are very comfortable and have nice stretch so fit perfectly. He wears them outdoors all the time for long durations and feels comfortable and protected from sun.

As an FYI, my wrist measure 6" around and my biceps measure 12 1/4" around. I am not physically fit by any means (meaning I don't have a lot of muscle in. my biceps). These cooling armbands are pretty cool (if you'll excuse the pun). The material is a soft, lightweight, nylon/spandex blend that glides onto your arm. The fabric is stretchy which allows for give in the width of the armband. The armbands fit my arm well without feeling too tight. The armbands come in a variety of colors. I love the pink ones I ordered. These armbands will help protect my arms from getting sunburned, and possibly being bitten by bugs, while enjoying the outdoors. The elastic on these armbands is 1/8" wide. The elastic appears to be just tight enough to keep the armband up on my bicep without restricting blood flow. One concern is that the elastic is sewn onto the fabric using a typical weight, single zig-zag stitch. It won't take much for the stitch to break and come undone, thus rendering the armband ineffective.

good fairly comfy sleeves. I'll certainly be using these on days that i don't want to smell like sunscreen later when going out in public. also probably a lot cheaper in the long run than buying dozens of cans of spray on sunscreen.

I got this pair of sleeves for fishing, hiking, gardening activities. They have a really cool pattern and fit perfectly. I like to wear short sleeves during these events but end up getting sunburned. I can easily remove the sleeves when I’m out of the sun and quickly put them back on. They are light weight enough to stash in my pocket when not using them. And lastly, they are very reasonably priced so I can pick up new styles as my mood changes.
