Bought these to avoid the sun and protect my arms at work. They looked good and felt great on except for the top part that was too tight under my underarms. My circulation was being cut off and no matter how much i wanted to wear these i couldn't do it for longer than 25 minutes.

As an avid gardener that always wears long sleeves, I found that was not enough to protect my arms from scratches so I'm very happy with these since they really do work, even with prickly succulents. They are tight around the upper arm but not annoyingly so and I can put them over my long sleeve tops or wear short-sleeved t-shirts. These sleeves do save my arms when gardening, but they do not shed garden burs, small sticks etc that stick to them. These small things from the garden are very hard to pull off. I hand washed these sleeves and they dried quickly, but I need a heavier less prone to letting things stick to them fabric. I bought these when I lived in Hawaii and was working constantly on my property , with my arms always looking like I had to run in with a feral cat. I expected them to be hot, thin , loose , and fall apart quickly. None of the above! They have compression sections on them so they fit skin tight without even being noticeable as being on.
