I bought these to protect my lymphedema arm from scratches/cuts when I have to do some yard work. There is some kind of lightweight metal fibers woven into the fabric so it feels a little bit like a potholder when you touch it. It works good, not too hot or sweaty. Velcro band fastens high up the arm, right under the armpit, doesnโt slide down nor strangulate my arm. Pretty comfortable fit. They are sort of specific for R or L arm but I have switched them up and they are still ok to wear. Have not tried washing these yet but will handwash/air dry when I do. Iโm very happy with these, good product!

I bought these as my Meyer Lemon Tree has Thorns that FIND me when I am Lost in the Leaves. LOL...These are wonderful, fit great and come almost to my armpits. In the Summer when it's over the 100 degree mark they make me Sweaty. But that is doable considering the fact I am not getting Cut up and Poked. Have a good sized property with lots of tree trimming, Roses, Scrub Oak, Black Raspberries, Palm Fronds, etc etc etc. So these are a Necessary Gardening Protector of Arms. BUT THE BEST is we have a Mini or Toy Aussie who HATES and Despises WATER. He also has a VERY FURRY Bootie that now and then needs a soak and scrub. (He is a food scavenger and YES is very well fed. As we are over the 70 yr mark we have the coming of age Thin Skin.) His nails always will cut me as He FIGHTS me, while trying to escape from the Bath. THESE ARM PROTECTORS ARE A MUST FOR THAT. I grabbed them one night when His bottom was messy and gloved up and we got the job done with NO Blood or injuries. YES these are a Necessary Dog Grooming item in my House. This little Toy Aussie had been Traumatized as a tiny pup, and touching or Petting his bottom was off limits by Him. He has only a tiny NUB for a Tail. His Nails and touching the Paws also caused him to pull back. Took 2 years to get him to trust me petting him near his tail and just to touch or pet the tops of his paws. Puppies do not Forget the Trauma, or the People that Cause it. That Breeder and I had a talk about that too. So these Cut Resistant Arm Sleeves do lots of Arm Protecting in my House and Yard. Washed well in the Washer and Dried fine in the Dryer too. HAPPY I chose these.

I got these sleeves because I need to move a lot of sharp rocks. These sleeves are great and have done an excellent job protecting my arms from scratches I would get through normal fabric. The sleeve length is good too, with the material stretch the sleeve itself stretches for a snug fit up the entire arm. The downside is the velcro straps are made for pencil thin arms. I can barely get these to clasp above the bicep and if I flex my arm they come undone OR I have to tighten them so much my arm goes numb. As a result I instead have to fasten these down by my elbow which kind of defeats the purpose. There is no reason why the velcro strap couldn't have been made an extra 2-3 inches longer and not had this problem.

Bright color is good reminder to be cautious. Easy to put on, adjustable size of axillary strap allows comfortable fit depending on upper arm size and arm shape. Good protection for pruning trees, hedges, bushes. Projects from cuts, scrapes, scratches, skin tears and most punctures. I did get a small puncture from citrus thorn but only the fine tip went through the knit on edge. I chose the medium level but I'm very pleased with the protection level. Allows me to enjoy working in my garden again Soft on skin, supple and reasonably cool. Much more pleasant than my old stiff heavy leather sleeves. Really enjoying them. Highly recommend.

Reviewed by Mr C. Got to try these A9 level sleeves recently when trimming shrubs and old rose bushes. Not a scratch on either arm. I'll also use them when clearing brush and tree limbs on the property. Now thinking of the many uses from yard, metals, wood and vehicle work. Wish I had these all along. Wouldn't have these old scars now. Found them to be surprisingly comfortable and lightweight as stated.. Sure your arms are going to feel warmer covered but these do breathe. My arms were also not covered in sweat like I had expected. Could feel light breezes through them with temps in the mid 80's. Can't comment on longevity/durability yet, but not expecting any surprises. They appear well made. Got more done in less time with my arms well protected. That's an overall win !!! Very pleased with this product.
