I use these to keep modest enough when going out running and racing. I've worn these for 5K's to half marathons, in the sun and in a drizzle, and they perform quite well. The thumb holes help keep your hands warm when it comes to those early morning fall/winter races while you're waiting for your wave to hit the start line. I also enjoy how I can roll them up or down to cool off a bit and they remain in place on my arms. The length goes from my wrist all the way up to just under cap sleeve, so it offers lots of coverage since women's sleeves are much shorter than men's shirts. They wash well, though they may shrink a bit (at least if you through them in the dryer), but they stretch and maintain good coverage all the same. Before and after washing, they remain comfortable to wear. Also, the ability to mix and match depending on your outfit is a nice bonus :-) ... show more

Never did I dream I would be a 40 year old rocking these. They are not fashionable. But the work great to keep the sun off my arms when driving, doing yard work, or watching swim practice. Surprisingly cool and breathable to wear, I love the thumb holes to help keep them in place. And they stay up on my arm really well. The white picks up a lot of dirt, but washes out well. I used these for driving in my car, to keep my arms from getting too burned on longer trips. (Gardening sleeves were too heavy/hot.) I was excited for something lighter weight. These felt really nice on, but after only a handful of uses they got a run in them. The run left all kinds of strings and things inside the sleeves and made it a nightmare to try to take on and off. They are still functional, but I'm not sure how much longer they'll last. I've only had them for about a month, too. Wouldn't get them again. ... show more

Seem to be off decent quality. They are much too big for my 16 yo daughter and yet the thumb hole seems a bit small for her. They may work in the future as she continues to build muscle but for now they are quite baggy.
