I was a bit worried about it being "one size fits all". I am petite. The fit is good. Little loose at wrist for me but doesn't affect functionality. Good stretch and comfortable. I have not used too long so can't yet speak to level of protection. I intend to use in the yard and around the house.

I bought these because I have a lot of arm bruising from medications. For what it is, it works but the one size fits all not so much. I think these are geared more towards a woman's arm than a man's. I can get them on but the top wants to roll down and won't stay up. I'm guessing because my arm is thicker than a woman's. Sadly, I couldn't find anything better on Amazon so I'll keep using these but get them on sale if you can. ... show more

I may give these a 5 later after I use them in sun. But for now, These are heavy stockings but not really compression which I like. With the plan of sun protection, I bought these for me and a lightweight type for my sister. Her skin is very fragile so she needs to avoid trauma. When these came, I thought "ok" However, it's time to have cooling on in the house and arms get chilled, especially when reading in bed. These sleeves cover my arms and keep me comfortable without requiring that I wear heavier night clothes. I can remove them easily during the night if needed. They provide little padding but I think they will help prevent skin tears. I will use them this summer because my lower arms burn easily. Also, when it's 100+ in the summer here, I think this will be convenient for cold rooms, like at the doctor's office, without wearing a sweater I'll update after I see how that goes. ... show more

Well packaged. Arrived quickly. I like the material much better than other kinds I have seen ove the years. They were purchased for a 90 yrold male to protect his arms. I like how soft and stretchy they are so getting them on and off will be easy for me and for him if need be. He also has cold issues so I think they will help some there as well. Also let me say that he was adamant that he did not need these things. I took a bandage off of his right arm where there was a mostly heeled spot and slid the sleeve on. He said "you think I need these?" . I told him they were definitely worth a try and could replace gauze bandages and ace bandages in my opinion. I could also see these being used as a layer for people who were going outside to play or work. ... show more
