The slight upgrade is a NCase M2 grater, but that's $380 after shipping and the required accessory for vertical mounting the GPU. So this case is about 33% smaller than my last ITX case. Everything fit, but just barely. It took much longer than I anticipated to build, and there is no way I am opening up and swapping components. I literally threw away all the extra wires, etc... and I sent back two Nocturna fans - because there was literally zero extra room. That being said, so far there have been no problems with it running hot, which I attribute to the liquid CPU cooler and placement of the video card. This is also not the case if you want RGB lights. The video card and the liquid cooler block almost all the light coming through. My build was: 1. AMD Ryzen 9900X 2. CoolMaster V850 SFX gold (you have to use SFX power) 3. ARTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro A-RGB - 240m. RGB was wasted, and it's really thick. I wish I had gotten something thinner. It barely fit in there, and I had to jury-rig it slightly to make it work. 4. Samsung 990 4T 5. Cosair Vengance DDR5 64G 6000Mhz 6. ASUS TUF GeForce 5070 12G 7. Gigabyte B850i ITX ... show more

If you're buying this you know what challenges you're in for. It's a small form factor case and comes with all of the issues that entails. For example, I bought a BeQuiet AIO cooler and due to the pump design could not fit it in the case. I ended up replacing it with a Thermaltake TH280 that does fit though it feels like a tight bend between the CPU and the vertically mounted GPU (mandatory vertical mount). The entire case came apart and was very easy to work in otherwise. Very breathable materials, getting the GPU bracket in required a slightly uncomfortable amount of force but everything works perfectly. Good case. I have the original V1 and the finish of this newer version feels much nicer. It's also one of the few Mini-ITX cases that can house some of the RTX 5090 AIB shroud. Reason for the 4 stars: the original and V2 designs are nicer (personal opinion), the rear mounting plate for GPUs to "slide/attach" in separately after all your other interior components are done is not built rugged enough for heavy GPUs, and finally, I would have thought Cooler Master would have done a better job designing the top mounting system for radiators/AIOs. Not that there's anything particularly wrong with it but there are other cases that I own and seen over the years that do this better and in a more modern way. Awesome case. Looks clean, and I was able to fit my ASUS Tuff Gaming 4080 Super (348mm) paired with a Ryzen 9 7950X3D and an ID Cooling 240mm AIO. The temps are great, around 48°C on my GPU and around 60-65°C for the CPU while gaming.

I love mini itx cases. I had the original that i did a custom loop with that made my msi gaming x trio 4090 waterblock fit no problem. But i wanted to switch back to air cooling and the 4090 became a massive block so i upgraded to the V2 and it fits amazingly.

fantastic itx case with excellent cooling options and small footprint in a living space. The glass panel is a nice extra piece to have if not totally useless since youll likely be vertically mounting your gpu and the glass will choke it
