Description
The Cooler Master Vertical Graphics Card Holder Kit Version 2 comes redesigned for maximum compatibly and easy installation inside most ATX chassis with at least 7 available PCI slots. No longer restricted to chassis with completely open PCI slots, the revolutionary accessory now has the ability to slide forward and backward to allow display cables to pass through the back of PCI slots with metal supports between each slot. Adjusting the sliding mechanism is as easy as tightening and loosening two thumb screws. A high-quality Riser Cable (Ver.2) comes included to provide a reliable, durable connection between the motherboard and the graphics card. Installation is simple: Connect the riser cable to the motherboard, install the GPU holder to the chassis, then install the GPU to the holder itself and you’re set.

build quality is great, has no effect of temps and easy to install. i thought it was broken and only displayed like %10 of the time. turns out it was because this cord is pcie gen 3 and I have a x570 gen 4. I got it too work by changing my pcie slot too gen 3 in bios settings.

Fits on the Lian Li 011 Danynic. Even with 3 fans at the bottom there is a half inch spacing between the riser cable and fans. I'm running a 2080ti FE. Prior to buying this GPU temps were at 75C even with a custom fan curve of 90%. After installing this and setting up a custom fan curve of 70% GPU temps are now down to 63C

It's hard to find a nice vertical Gpu mount specially for the Lian Li 011D Mini. I tried to get theirs but you can't find it anywhere. I ordered different GPU mounts and this is the first one that came. Easy instructions. Easy to set up. Pros: * Fist my lian li mini perfectly * handles heavy gpus like a champ (I mounted it on with the Red Devil 6900XT. * easy to adjust. Cons: * you will lose all your pcie slots. * you need slim cables because they will need to go inside your case. Ones with big heads will have a hard time getting them through the slots. * even though it supports my huge gpu, slight sag still occurs, the further you stretch the gpu the more sag you get, but nothing mayor. It will cause an issue of you have a fan too close. Mines was just that that point but isn't interfering with it. It's a great GPU Vertical mount no dought. Great built quality. Just be prepared to lose pci express slots.

The media could not be loaded. Great straight forward GPU mount. Cooler Master has been around for a while I’m glad a company like them are making these type of products. You can tell it’s high quality and well designed compared to the generic cable mod or uplink products. (This was installed in an NZXT 510 elite case without any type of modification, like cutting into the case. The GPU used was an MSI 2080 SUPER about 11' inches long. The AIO was a Z63 280 in a push-pull configuration. )

It is sturdy, I was able to fit it on a corsair 4000D without any issues, I did not use their cable because is not PCIE 4.0. But the cable I used fit the mount just fine. If there was something I would change it would be the height of the mount from the bottom of the mount to the bottom of the case. But that is going to depend on which case you own too. Cooler Master needs to include a PCIE 4.0 cable as an option, for those that want to stick with that version. The back plate could be more open like to allow more airflow in the back of the GPUs. Temperatures on the system's GPU dropped substantially, I won't quote a number because that depends on many variables, but for my system it went from 64c to about 57-59c to me that is good enough. Performance decreased just a bit, I was able to notice in some instances where there was a lot of GPU intensive scenes where the frame rates slowed down just a tiny bit, not entirely sure if is due to the cable or other component in the system. Running, AMD 5 series, Asus Strix B550, Samsung EVO PRO M.2 970 and 980. I would recommend this mount. if you own a smaller case be prepared because is going to get tight when you flip the GPU over, the mount and the GPU will take more room than when is connected horizontally, connect all cables before doing the final setup.

I almost sent this back as it did not work at all on my initial installation. I followed the "pictures" on the included leaflet but my system just would not post at all. I tried all 3 of my video card slots on my Aorus X570 master motherboard and using an Nvidia RTX 3080 ti. There are no written words in the instruction leaflet, nor are there any trouble shooting or FAQ's. Just the pics and a warranty section. After doing a little research into this I found out that unless you set your pcie back to 3.0 from 4 or off of "auto" in the BIOS (if your mobo has it) this will not even post. Scaling back to a lower setting initially made me want to return it as well but finding out the difference between 3 and 4.0 is almost nil in gaming I did not mind this. While I do realize they say this is a pcie 3 cable I think it would make sense to at least make mention of this required BIOS change somewhere in the directions so you can make the change PRIOR to installation. or not think the item is defective. The other thing I noticed after installation is the video card does not sit straight. It is not sagging but it is being pushed away from the motherboard by the long cable that almost needs to be folded to fit. From one end to the other of the card there is a very noticeable angle as can be seen by the fans below the card in the picture. Despite these installation issues I am still rating the item 4 out of 5 because it does offer me the ability to greatly reduce the temp of the video card now that the 3 fans below it can circulate incoming air around it as well as allow better airflow to the upper part of the case where it can be exited. That was the main reason I wanted it in the first place. I just wish they would make some references in the user manual to the pcie settings in the BIOS that may be required in order to make it work.

My huge CPU cooler almost blocked the PCI slot for the latest RTX graphics card. I panicked and searched for the solution. BAM! This CM Vertical Holder V.2 saved the day. I was worried about reading the horrific Amazon review showing burning the MB circuits and melting the cable picture but well... this one works perfectly fine and gave me the bonus space for 3@ 2.5" SSDs right under the graphics card. Yeah. My case is now super neat and plenty of space with great air circulations by 8 fans. Thanks Cooler Master !!
