  • Excellent price, performance and it's quiet!!! 😍
Style: 212 Spectrum V3
I had an aging, 13 year old liquid cooler that was keeping my i7 9700F at 80C during gaming sessions. I figured it was time for an upgrade anyway so I bought an i5 14400F at a low price and then this Cooler Master Hyper 212 Spectrum V3. My i5 stays around 67C during gaming and the overall PC noise is quiet (which after 30 years of PC gaming... ugh... I want quiet!) I like it a lot and think the quality and price are excellent. Thank you! ... show more

  • Cool under pressure 😎.
Style: 212 Pro
Very good fan 👍. Silent running a with excellent cooling capacity. Of course sounds alittle louder when pushed to the max. Definitely would buy again. The RGB lights are a plus aesthetical.

  • Great CPU Heatsink/Fan!
Style: 212 Black
Excellent product for the $30 price! It reduced my max temps from right around 100 C to about 75 C. Idling temps dropped by about 10 C. I had been using the stock AMD fan/heatsink. This fan/heatsink is big though, so make sure it will fit in your case. It comes with both parts for Intel or AMD processors. Fairly easy install, though the mounting brackets for holding on the fan to the heatsink are a bit frustrating. Comes with thermal paste as well. ... show more

  • Sturdy and Effective Cooling with Appealing Aesthetics
Style: 212 Pro
This fan was selected for use in my new desktop computer, and my experience with it thus far has been positive. It looks good, with attractive color accents that enhance the overall appearance of my new desktop. Beyond aesthetics, the fan exhibits a robust and sturdy construction, instilling confidence in its long-term durability. Most importantly, it performs well, and moves a lot of air, which is crucial for maintaining optimal system performance. The fan's sturdy build is a notable advantage, suggesting resilience and longevity. Additionally, the appealing color scheme adds a welcome visual element to the computer's internal components. Its capacity to move a substantial amount of air is a critical pro, ensuring efficient cooling and contributing to the overall stability and performance of the system. At this time, no drawbacks have been identified. In conclusion, this fan proves to be a solid choice for a computer build, offering a combination of effective cooling performance, durable construction, and pleasing visual design. Its ability to move a significant volume of air, coupled with its sturdiness and attractive colors, makes it an excellent choice. ... show more

  • Cools well, good pricepoint
Style: 212 Black
Really easy to install (even if you're a beginner with tinkering with your PC). Just find a good video and make sure you have a backplate if your socket is AM4 (does NOT come with an am4 backplate, it uses what comes with your motherboard. If for some reason you don't have one you will have to buy one). Fan clips are really, really annoying. And they feel cheap. But they do the job fine. Cools quite well! I replaced my old failed nzxt krakenM22 AIO. Fans are very quiet, perfect if you dont have a top of the line CPU. My temps dropped 40-50c (my old cooler wasnt doing its job). Comes with its own paste in box which works well enough. It comes compatible with AM4 and AM5 sockets out of the box, and if you have an intel based socket it comes with its own bracket for attachment. Honestly, it's a lot cheaper than an AIO cooler, and it does its job quite well for the pricepoint. I can't complain much. ... show more

  • A reliable cool CPU Cooler.
Style: 212 Black
I have used this family in many desktops over the years. The CPU packages may vary, but this CPU cooler always works well and is adaptable. In this case I used it for a LGA1700 CPU. It is important to keep the CPU cool to insure no overheating even under gaming loads. These CPU coolers usually keep the CPU at 20C (84F). A low temperature makes the CPU operate for long life and avoids CPU slowdown or shutdown under extreme loading. Most of my CPU's have operated reliable for 10-15 years without issues and are still running cool. The design performance rivals most competitors. Easy to install and will support one or two cooling fans if desired. I highly recommend this brand and will continue to use in future designs. Stay Cool and be happy. ... show more

  • Much quieter than a stock AMD cooler but it took some work to install it.
Style: 212 Black
I like this product. Here's my day 1 experience... First you need to be ok with potentially removing the mother board, clearing thermal paste and reapplying thermal paste. If that is too much for you then find another solution! My stock AMD fan was driving me CRAZY! It was so loud that I didn't want to use the system for more time than necessary. I was not sure which fan was making all the noise but with a tooth pick narrowed it to the CPU fan. At that point I looked for a solution and here's my experience: Good: + Price to me was fair and Amazon arrived the same day! + Very Quiet (compared to my stock fan) + Keeping my cpu between 38 - 60C + Comes with thermal paste! + fits Intel/AMD (mine is AMD) + able to add a second fan but not included + directions with basic steps Not as good: - Installation took me about 90 minutes (I don't do this daily... so I am a bit slow) - If you're reapplying thermal paste you need 99% alcohol to clean the old paste (not included) - Installation required removing my system board- not a huge deal but takes time (case didn't allow access to under the system board) So this could be because I have an older case. Be ready. - If you have a small case it may not fit... check the case size, it's tall. Mine is full size Lian-Li and fit nicely. - second fan not included but can be added. - second fan may be tight against the memory on your system board. - split cable to power the first fan and add a second fan made my cpu fan speed unreadable. I added it so that the cable would be there for a future second fan. All in all, I like this solution. It's very quiet, inexpensive and working nicely. Happy Computing! ... show more
