  • A Good Little Compressor That doesn't Disappoint
I've had this compressor for about 8 months now. I couldn't be happier. It cycles nicely and shuts itself off promptly based on the internal pressure switch. The tank is large enough that there is enough air for a solid couple of minutes before the compressor cycles back on. It rarely seems to run for more than a minute or so before it fills the tank to the point where it can shut itself off again. Could it be quieter, sure. But it makes less noise than the spray booth I have, which runs constantly, and it certainly is quieter than those tankless compressors that run constantly when you permit air to flow through the airbrush. If I ever get bothered by the sound enough, I'll try building a little baffled enclosure for it. For my needs it's really a nice little tool. The tank is easy to drain and the pressure valve seems responsive and the gauge accurate. ... show more

  • Excellent small compressor
An excellent airbrush compressor for any level user. It is (IMO) very quiet and provides smooth, steady airflow. Came with an adapter for standard 3/8 BSPP airbrush hoses. Cycle time in use is reasonable - both frequency and duration. I does not appear to generate a significant amount of heat. Overall, performs better than expected and is exceptional quality for the money. ... show more

  • Perfect Compressor for My Airbrush Needs!
I recently purchased the NO-Name Quiet Compressor for Airbrush with Air Tank Model Tooty, and I am thoroughly impressed! This compressor has exceeded my expectations in every way. First and foremost, it's incredibly quiet. I can use it in my small apartment without disturbing my neighbors or even my own family in the next room. The noise level is so low that I can comfortably have a conversation while it's running. The air tank is a game-changer. It provides a steady and consistent flow of air, which is essential for detailed airbrush work. No more sputtering or inconsistent pressure – just a smooth, uninterrupted stream of air that makes my projects look professional. Setup was a breeze. The instructions were clear, and I had everything up and running in no time. The build quality is impressive; it feels sturdy and well-made, which gives me confidence that it will last for years. One of the best features is the auto shut-off function. It not only conserves energy but also prolongs the life of the compressor. I can focus on my work without worrying about turning it off manually every time I take a break. Overall, the NO-Name Quiet Compressor for Airbrush with Air Tank Model Tooty is an outstanding product. It's quiet, efficient, and reliable. Whether you're a hobbyist or a professional, this compressor is a fantastic addition to your toolkit. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • What an upgrade!
I've never had a compressor like this! I was under the impression that all airbrush machines just ran non stop while you painted, that it was just going to be something I'd have to accept. It shuts off once it gets full and I love that! It changed the way I worked and how long I was able to work I am able to relax more. I know that may seem silly but having that quiet really helps. The pressure holds steadily, I've not felt it get hot at all, it works like a dream! I feel like its very durable, I don't plan on putting it through any rigorous test but its construction and weight make me think that its going to hold up for a very long time. I don't consider myself a serious artist but for the art I do, this is a nice size and fits well into my space without being too big. I wish I had switched a long time ago, but now that I have I can't see me going back to anything less. ... show more

  • No Name compressor is Cool Too!!!
So far I am impressed. This compressor is very well built. The additional fan on the cylinder head was a smart idea and keeps the compressor running cool. Cycling on and off helps too. So far no leaks. Has a decent regulator/water trap. Simple but solid construction. Well worth the money.

  • Perfect replacement
My aging airbrush air compressor was on the verge of dying on me so I found this one on the Spraygunner page and, after checking it out in person at a recent convention, decided to buy it. It exceeds my needs and provides plenty of air for my Harder-Steenbeck and Badger airbrushes. It's much quieter than my old compressor and the large tank cuts down on the amount of time needed to have enough air for a paint session. The compressor tank holds the air at pressure for at least three days, which was a pleasant surprise. Would recommend this to other scale modelers looking for a quality, dependable product. ... show more

  • My First airbrush Compressor
This is my first air compressor for use with my air brush. It arrived well packed with no damage, no issues. There was no assembly, and it started up with no problems, no leaks. Seems like a well made compressor to me. I have used it once for a model I was building, and the tank is a nice feature as it kicks on only to keep the tank topped off. I bought this particular model because of the good reviews about it. Also because of the features it had that I wanted in an air compressor. I bought a quick connect adapter for it so that detaching and attaching the airbrush was quick and easy without losing the air in the tank. I can highly recommend it for home hobby use. ... show more
