Features

  • The attachment with the wide clip is ideal for holding larger parts such as a body in a scale of 1:24.
  • The body is attached "-floating" and reversible (360) and can be easily painted from all sides (e.g. spray can or airbrush).
  • The paint plate with its 16 cm in diameter (rotatable 360) offers plenty of space for painting or drying small parts and spray boxes.
  • If the surface is not enough, additional parts can be attached to the rim of the plate via the crocodile clips (4 pieces included).
  • There are further holes for holding paint rods on the turntable.

Description

A multipurpose painting stand set with 2 easy to use stands. Both stands can be adjusted and used for a wide range of sized and shaped pieces. The 16cm diameter turntable has different sized holes to affix various parts to the stand. Parts can be painted easily while still on the sprue or can be affixed to something like a pencil or chopstick inserted into the larger holes. Comes with 4 spring clips. Fixing a model body to the stand from the inside, the body stand is perfect for spray painting1/24 scale cars. The width of clips can also be adjusted to obtain the most stable hold.Can be used with Model Painting BoothsBoth body and turntable stands can be used with separately sold painting booths available at model hobby shops and art stores. After seeing several model car builders on YouTube using these Tamiya paint stands, I decided to try them out. WOW! They've made my model building life so much easier. They're both easy to use, and with the smaller parts it's so much more convenient to clip the parts tree on here and hit them with a couple of squirts of spray paint instead of hours of hand painting. Time saver! The other stand made specifically for painting vehicle bodies makes painting so much easier as well. You can rotate the stand on its base and pick it up for easy spray painting of the body at any angle.
