Honestly I made this purchase because the utensils look so cute in the color, I wanted to love them so bad!!! However, 4 of them are basically unusable. They don't work properly. The can opener does not work at all. The potato peeler is impossible to use it properly its flat almost to the point that it doesn’t peel the skin off. The pizza cutter edge is dull. Garlic peeler handles are bendy so cant press firmly to get the garlic through the holes ... show more

This was one of the things I was most excited to buy when I moved into a new apartment because I was looking forward to updating some of my college kitchen tools to nicer ones. However, I have had problems with some of these tools. The can opener is subpar and has trouble holding onto cans and when it does manage to cut through the can ... it's only about half of the rotation that works! You have to roll it over the can multiple times to get anywhere. It's bad. The icecream scoop broke the first time I used it. I have not used the rest of the tools as of yet but am hesitant they will be any better than the previous items. Disappointed! Especially because these are very cute and I bought other items (the measuring spoons and cups set and the kitchen tongs set) from this store in the same colors. ... show more

I was super excited about these because they are so beautiful, and when I received them they looked just like the picture, but if you are looking for functionality, please don't buy. The can opener literally dissembled in my hands the second time I used it and I got 4 uses out of the garlic press before the handle broke...not to mention it would only mince the garlic cloves half way. These tools are great of you are needing something just to look pretty in your kitchen but SO CHEAP! ... show more

I really liked this set, it was perfect for my kitchen theme of copper and indigo....**however, the garlic press handle snapped while attempting to crush 2 cloves. I discovered it's made of plastic. It's frustrating to me that a company would cut costs by using plastic in a tool that is literally meant for pressure and strength! I had to toss it, and now the search is on for a replacement. Expect for yours to fail as well... In addition: the cheese grater is ONLY meant for soft foods.. I attempted to use it as a zester and you end up working twice as hard because there is no "razor edge" to it. The pizza cutter works, nothing spectacular. The peeler works, nothing spectacular. The can opener and wisk are the best tools out of this set! I haven't used the ice cream scoop. I didn't buy the set for that. Overall...you get what you pay for I suppose. ... show more

The copper is great I’ve washed them all quite a few times now with no scratches or fading on the copper. I have had them about a month and am very happy with the purchase. However the ice cream scoop isn’t super heavy duty. If your ice cream is frozen solid you may want to give it a minute to soften up before using the scoop. It will bend a little. But overall very happy with the products and they look great. ... show more

The items I can use are super cute and get a ton of compliments from people who visit me see me use them! Like other reviewers though, I had some issues with the products I received—specifically the peeler, it literally fell apart as soon as I opened the package. Not the end of the world, but a little disappointing for sure! If you’re buying these for the aesthetic, you’ll get some really cute utensils. If you’re looking for the best functioning utensils—you might want to consider a different item. Also—had a friend accidentally stick a few of these in the dishwasher without knowing they were handwash only-and the rose gold plating essentially all came off, so be careful you don’t make the same mistake as we did and follow the care directions closely! ... show more

These look really cute and have a great grip, but the silicone stains and the parts are rather flimsy. I recently peeled some carrots and the peeler now has orange stains on the handles that won't come out. The peeler itself works but feels dull compared to other peelers. If all you're going for is looks, I think this is a good choice. Functionality-wise, I'd look for other sets. ... show more
