Aqua-Bound Eagle Ray Carbon Posi-Lok 2-Piece Kayak Paddle - The Aqua-Bound Eagle Ray Carbon Posi-Lok 2-Piece Kayak Paddle is a first-class touring choice providing extra pull for low-angle paddlers and heavily-loaded boats. Carbon from tip-to-tip, the Eagle Ray has extra-long low-angle blades that grab the water like a high-angle blade. The Posi-Lok breakdown ferrule is extremely easy to understand and use, clicking firmly and unmistakably into place. There is no wear, wiggle, or movement in this ferrule system at all, and no metal parts to corrode. It’s easy to adjust the feather angle on the fly and the external ferrule keeps hard-to-reach sand or debris from collecting inside your paddle shaft. Every component makes your kayaking experience more worry- free and enjoyable.

Pretty much what you expect for carbon graphite construction: light and stiff. It gives you a more sensitive connection with the water that makes it feel like you're getting more power (not that you are, but it feels that way). I really liked the posi-lock design. Like the orientation of the handle position(s) and lightness being carbon fiber. Would prefer bent shaft style paddle but there too expensive. Response in the water is great. Be sure the right length of paddle fits your size.
