BUY. THIS. BAG. I have had it for almost a year and it is absolutely my go to whenever I travel. It holds a ton, and the fact that it opens like a suitcase is more useful than I originally thought it would be. It’s very comfortable to wear because of the padding on the back and the shoulder straps. The amount of pockets and pouches means you can stay organized which is good when you’re in a confined space like an airplane. It fits perfectly under the seat in front of you on a plane, with room to spare. The charging port does take a second to figure out, but once you get it the first time it’s pretty simple. The only downside is that the other outside pocket isn’t large enough for a larger water bottle. The biggest I’ve found that fits is a 32oz. This personally isn’t a problem for me but it might be for some. I’ve taken this bag on dozens of trips over the last year and you would still think it’s brand new. It’s really well made and I can see it holding up for many years to come. I’ve spilled on it, I’ve thrown it, I’ve dropped it, and it's held up through all of it. The waterproof material means you can wipe it off and keep going without a problem. Totally worth every penny.

BEST PERSONAL ITEM BACKPACK FOR TRAVEL! The separate shoe compartment is so clutch (so nothing gets dirty) and fits a pair of sneakers and Birks easily. I was able to fit both pairs of my shoes, both toiletry bags, headphones and snacks in this backpack so my carry-on could be only devoted to clothes for a week-long trip to Spain. This is the bag I’ve been waiting for my whole life! AND IT HAS A BACK STRAP SO IT SITS BALANCED AND SECURED ON TOP OF YOUR SUITCASE AS YOU WALK! Zippers are sturdy and great! The backpack itself is flexible to allow for a good amount of storage if needed but still has a good shape to it. Buy this bag!!

I ordered this backpack specifically for a Spirit Airlines flight (RIP!). Their size specifications for a personal size item were 18”x8”x14” which seems to be the same as many other airlines. The standard size of this bag is well within that range. This thing is amazing! It fit perfectly under the seat in front of me. It was comfortable to wear even when very full and I fit everything I needed for 3 nights in Las Vegas. I packed 2 pairs of shorts, 3 tshirts, a pajama set, a swimsuit, 2 dresses, 4 pairs of underwear, a pair of sandals, a pair of wedge heels, a small Bluetooth speaker, my makeup, a toiletry bag, a small bag with my charging cords & usb cube, a round brush, a curling iron and a small purse with all my essentials already in it! I used a small compression packing cube for a few of my clothes, but otherwise I just folded them to the length and width of the backpack and laid them flat. It was very full but the straps on the sides helped a lot to cinch it up. I was nervous to test out the personal size spacer box at the airport, but it fit great... I didn’t even have to push on it. I could have packed that extra dress I wanted, lol. The shoe compartment at the bottom is handy but takes up a lot of room in the main compartment when full. I recommend packing all of your stuff first and then adding the shoes to that compartment at the end. You have to really force them to fit and your bag won’t be flat on the bottom, but they take up less room overall. I’m going to buy another one for my husband. This was a very solid purchase!! Edit: I have now used this backpack for at least 6 flights and multiple overnight/weekend trips. It looks as good as the day I received it and the zippers, buckles and straps are all in perfect shape. I made a duplicate makeup bag and a small pouch with deodorant, toothbrush and toiletries that live in the backpack. A little emergency travel kit with sewing stuff, bandaids, medicine, scissors, stain stick, laundry soap packet and cash also stays in the smallest pouch in the front. When it’s time to pack, I throw my clothes, hairbrush and a curling iron in and I’m ready. I usually use the water bottle holder for my hair tools. I’ve used it as my personal item on Frontier, Spirit, United and American Airlines. It always fits under the seat in front of me, but when it’s stuffed full it takes up the whole space and is a little uncomfortable for my legs. But if you are traveling personal item only and the airline doesn’t allow you to use the overhead bins, it will work. I have bought several of these backpacks for gifts (and I include one of the emergency travel kits that I make) and they have been a huge hit!

I ordered a standard size bag in the peacock color. The bag came in two days as expected (which was awesome). The color is great and looks like the picture. I'm planning on using it for a work trip so I love the separate space for my laptop and other work essentials that I'll be bringing with me. The bag looks solid and of decent quality - especially for the price. Perfect for a trip where you are packing lightly although I'm sure I can fit a great deal of my stuff in this bag because it has a functional & practical design. The only downside is that when I started opening the pockets, I discovered some grit (almost like sand). I was hopeful that it was just tiny beads of plastic or something as the thought crossed my mind that this could have been previously used. I ignored that thought because I've never had that experience from ordering off Amazon and figured I was probably wrong. Unfortunately for me, after checking out all the interior pockets, I looked in the water bottle holder and it had a pair of dirty socks in it! 😭 I wish I could return it to get (hopefully) a new one, but I won't have enough time… 😫 I usually don't wait last minute to order in case of an issue like this but I couldn't decide between 3 other bags. I guess getting a new one would be wasteful as there really isn't anything wrong with it, but I was just disappointed when I found the dirty socks. Also keep in mind that when I received this bag it was plastic wrapped, so someone should have noticed the socks and cleaned it out before re-selling… Usually I wipe down all my stuff with a clorox wipe but tonight I will be taking some time to thoroughly disinfect each compartment & pocket. 😫 4/5 due to an unclean bag that had dirty socks in it.

Just used it for a cross-country flight, and it worked well. I used the shoe pocket for my CPAP machine and the main compartment for some other stuff plus snacks. It fit under the seat well and was easy to pull up to access, even in coach. Comfortable to wear as a backpack and held its shape well fully packed. It has so many pockets, I couldn't find my keys because they were in one of the interior pockets that I missed. My only real complaint, if you can call it that, is that the security pocket is sandwiched between the hard back and thick cushioning. It's really hard to get stuff in and out of. The carriage strap is also a little tight one one of my suitcases with an ergonomic handle. Hat tip to the reviews that mentioned the quality and feature differences between colors. I would have gotten something darker (i.e. less likely to show stains), but the gray had all the features. My wife was so impressed by this bag on the previous trip that she bought one as well for our a more recent trip. They worked well. On Delta they didn't fit under the seats unless carefully arranged. I also ended up using the bag as a day pack almost every day of the 2-week trip, carrying camera gear, coats, etc. It is honestly not as ergonomic to wear as one would hope, but it got the job done there as well. The chest strap really helped with weight distribution. It also held a rolled up coat with the cinch straps for the days it was especially full. This bag did it all.

Took this on a month-long trip to Japan and it did the job. The multiple pockets are genuinely useful, not just filler compartments, and the main pocket has enough room to stay organized without everything turning into a mess. Packed and unpacked it daily and never saw any signs of wear. Waterproofing held up on rainy days without any issues, and moving through trains and airports felt easy without feeling like I was hauling a suitcase on my back. Fits carry-on requirements too, which saved us from checked bag fees. If you want a travel bag that can handle heavy daily use for a long trip, this one gets it done. No complaints after a full month. Would buy again.

Love this backpack! Used on a recent trip. It has so many pocket areas, is lightweight, sturdy zippers, fit great under the seat and I got so much in it (clothes, shoes. makeup, etc ) I actually used an interior pocket to separate my dirty clothes! Love the color too! Great deal!
