For $50 this Pea Coat looks a lot more expensive than it actually is. The fit and drape of this coat is immaculate and you can tell it was styled with modern trends in mind. It's a thin coat, so don't expect too much warmth but should be warm enough for a cold fall day. The thinness is a huge plus for layering because it doesn't give you a bulky, frumpy silhouette from the layers underneath. The low price comes with the compromise of material quality, the fabric is 100% polyester. For me, polyester is generally a negative due to the lack of breathability but I have to give this coat a pass due to the very reasonable price. A similar looking wool coat would easily cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Plus, since these kinds of coats are usually worn unbuttoned and there are usually layers between your coat and your skin, it is much more important for the inner layers to be breathable vs the outside layers. The colors and the pattern of the coat look great and don't look "printed on". I also like the buttons, they feel substantial and not like cheap basic buttons.

I’ll admit, I was a bit disappointed with this coat. I’ve ordered other items from COOFANDY and have generally found their products to be a solid value, but this one didn’t quite live up to my expectations. The actual coat doesn’t look as polished as it does in the product photos. There’s a video review on the listing that I definitely recommend watching before purchasing. Had I seen that first, I probably would have passed. Mine arrived with a few loose threads around the stitched areas and was pretty crumpled from the vacuum-sealed packaging. To be fair, I’m comparing this to another pea coat I own that cost about three times as much, so my expectations may be a little higher. For the price, this isn’t necessarily a bad coat—you just need to know what you’re getting. If you’re looking to save some money, I’d recommend purchasing it with the expectation that it will need some ironing or steaming and probably a little spray starch to get the crisp, polished appearance shown in the product photos. Once cleaned up, it’s a decent budget option, but don’t expect it to look that way straight out of the package.

When the somewhat small, flat package arrived, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The coat is shrink wrapped, but upon opening will expand. Out of the package it was quite wrinkled and creased in spots. I used a warm iron and the wrinkles came out easily. The color is just as pictured in the listing. It has a soft feel and looks like wool even though it isn't. The coat overall is well made, has a nice lining and internal chest pocket. It even came with a spare button. I'm 6'00", 175lbs and normally wear a Medium. But since this coat is described as "slim fit" and I'll probably be wearing bulkier clothes underneath, I got a size Large. It's summer now and while there's a bit of room when I tried it on, it will fit better come fall and winter. As for warmth, it's not overly thick so I don't expect to wear this on the coldest of days. But it will be a nice coat to wear when I want to dress things up a little and won't be outside in frigid temps for too long.

I am enjoying this men’s pea coat. I ordered my version in the black-white plaid size XL. Its appearance is timeless and classic. Being 6‘2“ tall and 185 pounds, a slim fit seems to be tailored perfectly for my body type. The coat fits well… It feels great with or without layering. The coat drapes perfectly from the shoulders to a nice length below the buttocks offering a slim straight drop. The design is attractive and appreciated. The buttons and button holes are stylish and sewn well. I appreciate the wide simple collar. The interior of the coat is lined and the sleeve length is spot on. The coat offers enough room for layering and does not bind front to back. The sewing quality is good. The value here is quite good indeed especially for the price charged. The coat is also quite versatile being suitable to wear with a dark pair of jeans or a nice pair of khakis. It can be dressed up or down, layered or worn over a simple shirt. It’s a good coat to grab on the go… who doesn’t love a great pea coat. I have included many detailed and close-up photographs for you to gauge the quality and sewing for yourself. It’s an attractive, well-made coat in a classic design that fits perfectly.

Pros: - It looks exactly like advertised - True to size but if you want to button it up and have a more comfortable fit then I would size up by 1 - Stitched well and lightweight - Comfortable and warm: 100% polyester - Soft and buttons are easy to use so it is easy to put on and take off - It comes with an extra button - Pockets are deep and you can easily put your phone and keys inside Cons: - Dry clean Overall, this is a very stylish and practical pea coat. It is comfortable, soft and warm but it might not be warm enough for very cold winter weather. It is versatile and can be paired with just about anything for a nice chic look. The material isn't super high quality but it is decent. I would still recommend it!

This coat is fine, but I do not think I’m quite as aligned with the glowing reviews. It looks decent from a distance, and for around $50, I understand the appeal. It gives you the shape of a nicer pea coat or dress coat without spending actual nice-coat money. Up close, though, it feels more like what it is: a polyester faux-wool coat at an Amazon price point. That does not make it bad, but I would not describe it as especially premium or impressive. The cut is decent, and it can work for a dressed-up casual outfit, but I would keep expectations pretty realistic. I think this is useful if you need an inexpensive coat for occasional wear, photos, a dinner, or a work event where “good enough” is truly good enough. I would not buy it expecting a serious winter coat or something that looks expensive in person.

I ordered an XL for my husband. That is his usual size. He is 6'2" tall and around 210 pounds. (He doesn't wear the big and tall sizes because he finds them too long.) This jacket fit him great. The sleeves are a good length and the overall length is good. The tag says it is 100% polyester. It kind of seems like wool as far as the look of the material and texture. Of course I like wool but then the jacket would be maybe too warm and would cost more. It does come with an extra button. I didn't find any problems with the jacket. It seems like a nice jacket.
