I bought this to replace my husbands old trench coat. His old trench coat could withstand a sprinkling rain for an hour or so without getting soaked through and could withstand 30 degree weather for a couple hours. This coat does neither. I’m not sure what you would use it for. It absorbs rain and is paper thin. It is going in our costume box for a pirate costume.
