  • Nice case
This holds the balls all neat in one location. It allows me to now keep all the balls in my truck without worrying about them rolling around and clanging together. Put a rubber band around the case and it's good to go.

  • it works
It works, but it doesn't hold the balls firm and the lid is held on by friction. It would be much better if it was a tighter fit and there was something to hold the balls in place and some kind of clip to hold the container closed. I mean it works, but there is much room for improvement.

  • Nice over all.
Would be nice if it was not plastic. I know it will crack after a few years of being in a tool box.

  • Best system I have found
This is the best multiple ball hitch system I have used. The others I tried became difficult to switch out. I pull multiple types of trailers and change out the ball frequently. The locking pin is perfectly smooth and fairly easy to remove when swapping the ball out. I would recommend this if you haul trailers that require different size balls. ... show more

  • These work better than normal balls on my hitch
I had an issue with the balls that I was previously using and the slidelock would not easily engage on the ball. At times I would need to hit it to get it to engage on the ball. With these balls, the slidelock always easily engages. I did add a little more grease to the pins to ensure they wouldn't seize and allow the ball to be removed easily. So far very happy with the purchase ... show more

  • This thing has you covered.
I have used everyone of these balls. Most recently when I purchased a dump trailer that had a 2 5/16" hitch. Guy mentioned I had 2" ball. I popped it off and added the 2 5/16. It would have had to pay for a new ball and for the guy to install it. SAVED! The other time was when I had some goats escape. I had to borrow a small trailer that had a 1 7/8 hitch. an oh s... moment if I didn't have the Convert-A-Ball. ... show more

  • Excellent concept and design
Excellent concept and design. The execution needs some improvement. A friend of mine who had purchased one before me warned me that his rusted to the point that it was not useable. This is not chromed as most balls are. The part that needs work is the receiver pin that mounts on your receiver stinger. Since it is left to the elements it should be chromed. In lieu of that concern, make sure you order the plastic holder, and the small plastic pin cover. Keep the pin covered with a marine rust preventative. This thing isn't cheap and the only reason that I can assume for this shortcoming is that the inventor lives in Arizona, or some place that it never rains. I live in Oregon so the life expectancy of this unit is cut short. Trailer balls do not normally require this much attention! ... show more

  • Good for organizing the ball set
Good for organizing the ball set, so they just don't roll around in a bag. Based on the combined weight of three balls; it would be better if the case had been made of a more durable material other than plastic. At the very least, there should be a locking fixture to keep the box closed.
