    • Accurate
I hadn't calibrated my refractometer in a while. I purchased this to check the calibration. Interestingly enough after 10 years my refractometer is still calibrated. Either that or the calibration is off the same amount as the calibration fluid which is unlikely.

Accurate reading with Milwaukee salinity refractometer. Confirmed the solution that came with the Milwauke was off by 0.02. This solution helped confirmed the Milwaukee reader was accurate.

I was suing this and could not figure out why things were not doing right in my tank. Took it to the local fish store and it was reading 1.029 not 1.026! Anyone with a salt water aquarium knows this is NOT A GOOD THING!! Thank goodness I knew something was not right and figured out the issue. Will not buy this product again. ... show more

I purchased this and tested my water and it gave a much higher reading then my original calibration solution. If you use this get your water test by another tester.
