The meter was very accurate when checked against distilled water and known alcohol. The included test jar is much thicker than my previous one and I feel will hold up quite well. I appreciate that it came with the cleaning brush as well, rather than having to find an appropriate one elsewhere. I do feel like the included temperature compensation table is fairly limited, and I needed to use an online calculator instead. ... show more

This is a great kit and the box can be used to store it in when not being used the only bad thing for me is the writing on the hydrometer is in red , and it’s to hard to see for me , the one that I had before had black writing and was easier for me to see, but still a great kit
