This seems to be a great hose. Very soft, somewhat light, and easy to move around. It does kink if you try but overall I don't have too many issues with that. The feel of it is more rubber than plastic which may mean it is less durable over time but when used mostly over a soft surface that shouldn't matter. The metal ends feel durable as well. The media could not be loaded. This is my second continental hose over the past half decade. Both have been outside and used at least 3 times a week during that time. I have hit this hose with a weedwacker, thrown it around and left it coiled vs uncoiled. Never does it puncture or even fade in the sun. This is a truly quality product and I believe its an agreeable price. A great feature is that, although heavy, lays perfect anytime you roll it up whether by hand or on a reel. I cannot say I have ever had a kink in the hose either even when I am yanking the hose around a corner from where the spigot is. Only negative I can think of is that over time if you are rolling up by hand you may get some black residue on your hand but that comes off with just some water! Continental has been making garden hoses for many years under different names. Over 15 years ago I bought one with the "Craftsman" label. It looks the same as the day I bought it from Sears. Yes, it's heavy, and yes, it is not as maneuverable as a pocket hose, but unless you ride over it with a lawnmower, you will never have to buy another hose again. But save the receipt, just in case. Ohhhhh I LOVE this hose! People complained about leaking at the attachment but I used a wrench and tightened it and it stopped with one easy turn (I didn’t even push hard) People said it kinks- it does when there’s no water running through the first time. You have to unroll and straighten it which took a little skill. But once that’s done it’s not an issue. It straightens and stays that way unless you let it roll up again. It fits my quick connects without issues. It is SOLID but I didn’t find it terribly heavy. CONS: black- if left in sun the water left in hose will be scalding. So be careful. That’s the only con! I will update the review if it splits or I have issues but two weeks of rough use and leaving on concrete it’s been fine. I ordered two more! Wish they had 25 foot size. ... show more

This hose got such good reviews! As an avid gardener, I am always looking for a good hose, but this one really disappointed me. I spent my whole time in the garden uncrimping it-it crimped multiple times despite my stretching it out after it arrived. I am still on the hunt for a non-crimper hose!
